Nice costumes! Alright, I'll try to get through the builds somewhat quickly..

Here's a mostly HW build for The Hammer:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.34:32

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Devastator (Str: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8)
    Level 6: Bodybuilder (Str: 5, End: 5)
    Level 9: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 18: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Bludgeon
    Level 1: Eruption (Magma Burst)
    Level 6: Enrage (Giant Growth)
    Level 8: Unstoppable (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Arc of Ruin (No Quarter, Wildfire)
    Level 14: Thermal Reverberation
Level 17: Bionic Shielding (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Skullcrusher (Rank 2, Rank 3, Put Them Down)
Level 23: Decimate (Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Absorb Heat (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 32: Guard (Rank 2)
    Level 35: Imbue
    Level 38: Fiery Embrace
    Adv. Points: 29/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (1/3)
    Strength: Overpower (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Offensive Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Eruption puts up CFlames, Arc taps an put up No Quarter and refresh both it and CFlames, while Skullcrusher is the main single-target attack (figured it's the most thematic one). Eruption into charges of Arc can be used as the main AoE. Gears mostly for Str, w/ some Con and End.

Bestial biting build for the Charlottesville asshole:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.34:32

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Devastator (Str: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8)
    Level 6: Paramilitary Training (Str: 3, Con: 3, Rec: 3, End: 3)
    Level 9: Bodybuilder (Str: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
Level 18: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Bestial Fury
Level 1: Shred (Rank 2, Penetrating Strikes)
Level 6: Aspect of the Bestial
    Level 8: Pestilence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Supernatural Power
Level 14: Venomous Breath (Rank 2, Paralytic Bile)
    Level 17: Thrash (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Eviscerate (Rank 2, Messy)
Level 23: Pounce (Furious Rush, Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Antagonize (Rank 2)
    Level 32: Imbue
    Level 35: Fiery Embrace
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 28/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (1/3)
    Strength: Overpower (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Put up Shredded and bleeds w/ Shred, use Thrash as the main filler, and refresh debuffs w/ taps of Eviscerate. Took Pestilence for the passive, Antagonize for the block, and Venomous Breath for AoE- because it's fitting. The last power can be w/e ya want. Gears mostly for Str, w/ some Con and End/Rec.

    --

Using a Skewer build for the Barbarian, just to better differentiate him from the other HW user, and cause Skewer builds can depend on bleeds instead of CFlames and TReverb (will make him Dex-based w/ FotTiger if you want procing the form/toggle to be reliable, but you can get Unstoppable for some passive knock resist):

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.34:32

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Endurance (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
    Level 9: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Reaper's Touch
Level 1: Scything Blade (Rank 2, Swallowtail Cut)
    Level 6: Deflect (Rank 2)
    Level 8: Unstoppable (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Form of the Tiger
    Level 14: Wild Thing
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Skewer (Rank 2, Rank 3, Follow Through)
Level 23: Decimate (Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Reaper's Embrace (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Barbed Lariat (Open Wound, Work Up)
    Level 35: Imbue
    Level 38: Fiery Embrace
    Adv. Points: 31/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Offensive Expertise (2/2)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Elusive (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

Scything Blade can be the main AoE, while Skewer can be the main single-target filler. You can rupture any 4-5x bleed stacks w/ REmbrace, if you want some extra burst dps. The Lariat can also be tapped to put up Open Wound and another self-heal. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and End (and skips severity rating on gear when you get Dex Mastery).

    --

Lastly, a Might + Elec build for the kiddo:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.34:32

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Savage (Str: 10, Dex: 8, Con: 10, Rec: 10)
    Level 6: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 9: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 12: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Electric Bolt
    Level 1: Beatdown (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Sparkstorm (Rank 2, Electric Personality)
Level 8: Form of the Tempest
    Level 11: Unstoppable (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 14: Ionic Reverberation
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Ball Lightning (Rank 2, Triplicity)
    Level 23: Lightning Strike
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Electrical Siphon (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 32: Thunderclap (Rank 2, Collateral Damage)
    Level 35: Retaliation (Rank 2)
    Level 38: Thundering Return
    Adv. Points: 33/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Combat Training (3/3)
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (2/3)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (2/3)
    Warden: Slaughter (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

Keeps Sparkstorm and Ball Lit up while using Beatdown to fill time. TClap can be thrown in for some CC. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and End/Rec (and skips severity rating on gear w/ Dex Mastery).

I took a combo as the basic filler for simplicity and easier energy management w/ Sparkstorm, but if you want to boost single-target dps a bit you could consider getting something like Demolish in Might for the debuff (though you'd have to free up a power slot for it).

So for Augustus, if I wanted a little more fire, like flower power...I could just give him a EB.

Also, I’m thinking of modding his gear to give him as much Knock(smash bros hammer) as possible. Is there anything that spec wise that would contribute to that.

Of course thanks for all these.

Ah, I see what you mean. You can't really get the Fire energy builder w/o changing his current power setup, though that can work if you don't mind making an extra power change or two. For another option, you could maybe change Absorb Heat or the lunge for something like Rimefire Blast and color it red-orange. It won't proc Enrage, but its a cd-based power so that matters less, and it can put up CFlames from range. Up to you, though, as you're free to edit my builds as you like.

As for knock specs: there's nothing needed in particular, since most of that is just dictated by how much Str you have and the rank of the knocking powers. There are specs to convert Str's knock energy to ranged attacks (Str PSS's Balance), and vice versa to Ego for melee attacks (Ego PSS's Mind Over Matter), but they aren't really relevant here. I guess Int PSS's Enlightened or Expertise also could do that for Str's knock power, but you mine as well just stick w/ Str PSS since it's more effective for the build overall.

I guess I should mention that in giving you Skullcrusher and Arc as the main attacks, his build will mostly be KDs that aren't really affected by knock power. It'd mainly affect Eruption's knockup there, and you could take R2 of that if you want. Another option is just using Annihilate instead of Skullcrusher, which would be more effective but maybe less thematic. Again, it's up to you.

    I know this is annoying...but

is there any way you can make a single blade version of the Augustus build (if possible) and a non-fire version of the Barbarian one with HW. (or would that just be the Augustus build minus the Cfire bits)

I sure do wish more powers worked with elements like lightening, seems like everything has some sort of fire to it. Be great if 1pt advantage was like add chill, ions, CF. A lot of Thor fans would be happy.
  • flowcytoflowcyto Posts: 12,742 Arc User
Yea, I kinda wish you could customize elements w/ things like HW innately, but atm you can do okay w/ just mixing in some powers form the energy projector set that you want. The new Brute Force EU will make it such that you don't necessarily need CFlames and TReverb for HW builds, so that'll be nice.

I already took out most of the Fire-related stuff for the Skewer build (it's more a mix of SB and HW's Skewer atm). The only other main variation I'd take for a Skewer/bleed build is using a Str-focus and AotB as the form-toggle, though Skewer doesn't have a 100% bleed chance so you'd want to work around that then.

I can make you an SB version of Augustus' build, though it won't have any Knock-Backs or Knock-Ups, since SB doesn't really have any of those (Kunai can Knock-To and Bladed Cyclone can knock, though neither are specifically SB powers and don't use the weapon). If you still want that, then let me know.

Actually, I might stick with the HW fire build for Augustus.

However, You think you can make a dual blade build for The Barbarian? He looks much cooler with two axes in his hands and the single blade build just made him look too fast. He is a big boy.

    IXokTa3.jpg

Thanks as always, you are always generous with these builds.
  • flowcytoflowcyto Posts: 12,742 Arc User
Sure, though DB is kinda agile-looking too, and DW (its big hitter) may look a bit weird w/ axes. Regardless, I'll give you a standard DB build and you can decide if it fits him or not, and/or if you want to edit it:

(Unnamed Build) - Freeform (Melee Damage)
    v3.34:32

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Dexterity (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Master (Str: 8, Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10)
Level 6: Covert Ops Training (Str: 3, Dex: 3, Con: 3, Int: 3)
    Level 9: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 12: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Martial Focus (Str: 5, Dex: 5)
    Level 18: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 21: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Rain of Steel
Level 1: Blade Tempest (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 6: Form of the Tempest
Level 8: Way of the Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 11: Steadfast
Level 14: Sword Cyclone (Rank 2, Blender)
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Dragon's Wrath (Tiger's Courage, Dragon Rush)
Level 23: Strike Down (Nailed to the Ground)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Deflect (Rank 2)
    Level 32: Imbue
    Level 35: Fiery Embrace
    Level 38:
    Adv. Points: 27/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (1/3)
    Strength: Overpower (2/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Warden: Slaughter (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Blade Tempest can be a basic cleave and puts up Shredded. I figured Sword (Axe) Cyclone was more thematic than EotS for a pbAoE. If you find that DW doesn't fit, then maybe we could change it to Storm's Harvest- not as strong of an attack, but we could make it work w/ Brawler's Setup or something. The last 1-2 powers can be w/e ya want. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con.
