Ebon Void Block Activation Delay? - Failing to block CC effects from cosmic bosses despite timing

Something that i noticed long time now and recent events confirmed my suspicion
I have been doing Nightmare Invansion with 4 characters (2 dps 2 tanks) and now doing Cosmics with the 2 DPS builds
With the Shadow Collosus and

This was tested with rank 1 and 2 of the block and with the ADV on Tanks

• While tanking Nightmare Colossus, I noticed I was getting CC'ed by his Screwer attack despite perfectly blocking for 2-3 seconds
• Teleiosaurus and Hatchling's CC AOE Dome attacks don't require blocking for the whole duration since the CC hits on specific timeframe! YET Ebon Void fails to block the CC during that timeframe leading to me getting CC as soon as I stop blocking!
  This happened way too many times and replicated with 2 character's builds
• The block says it has 1 second activation time like other blocks, yet it feels its way longer! In fact the activation time feels more like 2 seconds until the shield's delayed visual appear

FF Builds with the same set ups but different block do not have this issue, leading to Ebon Void being the issue 🤔
On the tank that was farming and tanking Cosmics I didn't noticed this issue since endgame tanks pretty much have to block all the time! However since Nightmare Colossus is more LITE-cosmic it clicked me that something was off, especially with the constant CC from Screwer while blocking with Ebon Void

Some others have noticed the same issue with Ebon Void's activation time 🤔​​

I think nightmare colossus might just blow through block. CC requires an early block (see my sig).
