Single target knock to power adv suggestion

I actually like the animation on several of the single target knock to powers like telekinetic lariat and such.
However, the majority of bosses can't be knocked towards you, which makes this ability rather inadequate for melee fighters trying to bring enemies within range.
So I was thinking a nice advantage for those powers might be something that if you fail or can't knock your target towards yourself, then you will instead be knocked towards them.
