100 ft Threat Wipe

Hi Folks, been a long time but thought I take another look at the game. So many changes!

Quick question, I was wondering if there was a 100 ft threat wipe besides Evasive Maneuvers?

There are a number of threat wipes these days. Bestial has an AoE one, though I'm not sure of the range. Telepathy and Electricity have single target ones that are 100' range. The Celestial power set has a heal (Palliate) with an advantage (Absolve) that turns it into a threat wipe as well.

They added a few threat wipes to some of the revamped sets, and some of them are 100ft. The other ones I know of are: Blinding Light (Elec), Mind Wipe (TP), Entrancing (Infernal), and Laughing Zephyr w/ adv (MA).

Oooo I forgot Entrancing and one of my favorite toons even has it!

Thanks everyone, so many new powers I can't keep up LOL. This is a nice addition.

Threat scales with proximity. So if you are at 100ft you will generate less threat already.

well, if, that's true, that would certainly explain why i keep drawing aggro on hybrid-mode leveling characters during alert runs even if there's a tank in the group - even when said tank is also many levels above said character​​

Since the beginning. Can be tested with 2 ranged tanks attacking a test dummy with identical stats and builds. One stands 100ft away and the other stands 5ft away.

Neat, nobody ever mentioned it anywhere I saw until now .-.

We need some sort of really good tanking guide that has this sort of technical information.​​

What are the indicators that shows this? Is it just who the test dummy "targets"? Which, I suppose is the way. But, I'm just guessing.​​
