Laser Sword Build optimized for heirlooms

I'm a casual gamer now and dont plan on grinding for gear but I do have a set of heirlooms I like to wear. I was wondering if there was a laser sword build out there that'd do well on the booster pack primaries and catalyst secondaries for heirlooms that'd allow me some fun and not a lot of muss or fuss? I'd be eternally grateful.

Well, that gear lacks things like crit chance, severity, cd reduction, and cost discount- which kinda sucks for it overall. You can broadly do okay with a DEX/Rec/Con SS setup in heirloom gear (gives you basic crit%, energy, and health bonuses then), but not every form/toggle scales w/ Dex, nor every EU w/ Rec.

Its really not that hard to get viable normal gear, though- either from missions or just bought cheap from the AH. Esp for casual play, you can do more than fine at max level, for instance, just in Merc-level gear or w/ lvl 37-40 uncommon, rare, or epic gear that's bought from the AH- as long as you choose your stats well. And as a bonus, you can customize the gear better w/ mods (and rank 4-5 mods are fine and usually pretty cheap in the AH as well), and it comes w/ stats like crit/severity, cd reduction, maxHP, and cost discount too.

You can keep some heirlooms when leveling, but I'd generally also look out for Offensive gear w/ some crit chance that also matches your SS's (or at least has some Rec on it for the equilibrium boost), and some Utility gear w/ cost discount that does the same (cost discount DRs heavily later on, but early on even moderate amounts of it can have a notable effect on energy management). Regardless, here's a generalized LS build that should be pretty easy to play:

You can maybe change the order of powers a bit if, say, you want a lunge, or Lightwave's pbAoE, or a heal earlier. Regardless, the general rotation (for the full build) against tough targets is to alternate between Lightspeed Strike and charged Lume Slash, while charged Lightwave Slash can be the main AoE due to its ease of use and reach. Particle Wave can also help w/ clumping up and debuffing mobs. For SS's, gears mostly for Int, w/ some Con and End/Rec.

Just out of curiosity (and I'm trying to level up a LS build myself) why unstoppable instead of quantum stabilizer?

You can take QS as the passive instead if you want, but extra energy on knock w/ Lightwave Slash and Particle Wave can be nice too. NW and WotW are also fitting options, as is Elec Form. Up to you, really.
