Ego Blades / Darkness Off-Tank?

Hi, so had another crazy idea. I'm looking at doing an Ego Blades plus some Darkness Off-Tanking.

My idea so far is to use the Shadow Eruption or other "pull" powers to drag in enemies while using the Ego Blades to melee them.

Thoughts on if this could work? I've not made up a build yet, but wanted to see what others thought could work and if it's viable.

I guess you mean putting Challenge on something like SEruption to sometimes try to draw (AoE) threat, but not always tank w/ your normal dps rotation. Siphoning on the TK Blade combo is nice for that too, though keep in mind it'll lower your optimal dps a bit (similar thing w/ the shielding adv on EBF).

Str PSS is mostly to give you extra defense and knock resist while still boosting melee dps a bit. The build's dps will mostly be dependent on setting up EBA for burst dmg. Gears mostly for Dex and Con, and a bit of Rec.
