I am curious if there is a tank build that can do very good damage also very tanky for Qzone missions or dungons in the new version of the game?
Was PA build getting better now? Or any other builds that can solo Qzone mission and good for all events?

Thanks,

Wait, did I really give you a build w/o a toggle back then? Cause that's def an FotT build right there. I think maybe you accidentally selected the power above FotT in the HC (Smoke Bomb), and haven't actually run w/o a toggle this whole time? (at least I hope so, rofl)

W/ FotT and some Dex, the dps shouldn't be that bad for that build, given you have Wisp's Debilitating Poison + R3 DE, and R3 Epidemic for AoE. Its main drawback is not having strong CC (Pounce can knock, at least). Its also a bit odd to see CoRG on a tank instead of something like CoPD, but maybe that's also an error in the power selection?

Anyways, yeah there's def many other tank builds you could make w/ high dmg, though most of them would prob be melee ones. 3-slot PA is ofc the king of ranged dps still, w/ the main hurdle being energy management. Defiance and CoAP can make that work for a tank, though. Example PA tank build:

    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 9: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
    Level 12: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 15: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 18: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 21: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Power Bolts
Level 1: Mini Gun (Rank 2, U-238 Rounds, Infrared Guidance System)
    Level 6: Overdrive
    Level 8: Defiance
    Level 11: Chilled Form
Level 14: Micro Munitions (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
Level 17: Dual Wrist Rocket Barrage (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
Level 20: Reconstruction Circuits (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Energy Shield (Rank 2, Phalanx Defense System)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Masterful Dodge
    Level 32: Imbue
Level 35: Circle of Arcane Power (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 38: Circle of Primal Dominion (Rank 2, Rank 3)

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Constitution: Unyielding (1/2)
    Constitution: Fuel My Fire (3/3)
    Constitution: Resilient (2/2)
    Constitution: Adrenaline Rush (2/2)
    Constitution: Armored (2/2)
    Guardian: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Guardian: Ruthless (2/2)
    Guardian: Find the Mark (2/3)
    Guardian: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Protector: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Protector: Bulwark (2/2)
    Protector: Defensive Expertise (3/3)
    Protector: Resolute (2/3)
    Mastery: Protector Mastery (1/1)

Use CoAP + 3 attack slots for full dps/threat, or CoPD + Recon Circuits and 2 attack slots for defensive play. If you're clearing easy trash where either the full defense or full dps setups are overkill, you can just use Micro Muni and Mini Gun for mobile AoE and not worry about standing in a circle or using too much energy w/ the 3rd slot. Gears mostly for Con, w/ some Dex. End, Rec, and cost discount on gear can also help w/ energy.

Here is the link, you were forwarded this build to one of my firend whom asked you in my thread. https://arcgames.com/en/forums/championsonline#/discussion/1210129/need-a-help-to-build-a-full-dmg-ranged-dps

"You can make a good tank from most powersets atm. Here's an easy one w/ Infernal SN and Devour Essence:

    http://aesica.net/co/herocreator.htm?v=28&n=&d=13280iGQLPKa000000O000O30JOF009A03B700OG03OI2QON01K503NC03EP00ND04K600MS012sib3T3B2MGB

DE allows you to heal while gaining threat and dpsing- only drawbacks are its high cost and melee range limit. So you want to play up-close. Uses Wisp for debuffing and spams Epidemic for AoE. Gears mostly for Con, w/ some Dex and End/Rec."

Well If I picked wrong power, would you send me that build with correct power? Because I am kind really like that build so tanky!! Strong self - healing, I feel like as long as my enemy can't kill me with one hit then I can never die.

Also I don't know if I ask you this question will be kind off topic, right now I am using full set of sorcerer's might heirloom gears total 6 pieces, I wonder how to obtain better gears? Also I got a gold vehicles voucher B, but I don't know what vehicles should I pick.

    Thanks,

Hm, that's a long old thread. It may have been an issue w/ the newer versions of the HeroCreator changing some of the powers in really old links. Looking at some of the other builds there, I think that's the problem.

Obv, you should be using a version w/ FotT and CoPD instead of Smoke Bomb and CoRG (I would also put Challenge on Wisp, since Epidemic can't have it). Lacking FotT in particular is going to lower your damage and energy gains considerably. Here's more of what it should have looked like:

Keep in mind that the Warden/Guardian + Vindicator specs were nerfed a bit recently, so they won't give as high defense and offense as before. Its still generally a decent spec combo, though, and the build should still be very good now (and quite stronger if you weren't using FotT before). Main stat focus here is still w/ Dex and Con, though some End and Rec can help w/ energy.

    -
If you want to start w/ normal gear, you can simply buy lvl 37-40 rare (blue) quality Primary gear in the AH that has your three SS's, and some open mod slots for more stats that you can slot in. I'd also get cheap r4 or r5 mods for the slots. For the other stats, favor crit rating and crit severity for offensive gear slots (though bonus healing is also okay), maxHP and defense for defensive slots, and cd reduction and cost discount for utility slots. Can also do the same w/ secondary gear, getting rare (blue) or epic (purple) quality on the AH (most won't have mod sots). It shouldn't be too costly overall, and its an okay staring point before you try grinding for Heroic, Legion, or Justice-level gear.

I'm not well-versed in CO's vehicles, but perhaps someone else could help you with that.
