Mix of Ice and Infernal

Hi, my main concern was how to get synergy between the frameworks, and I'm not sure I'm doing the best job. I was going to try to run her in Tank mode. Can you even effectively mix the two? If I can't run her as a tank then I can switch it to Range DPS. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There's no innate synergy between them that I know of (ex. Ice powers that poison, Infernal ones that Chill), but that doesn't mean a mix of the sets can't work out. Here's a tank that mixes them:

    Protector: Bulwark (2/2)
    Protector: Debilitating Challenge (2/2)
    Protector: Defensive Expertise (3/3)
    Mastery: Protector Mastery (1/1)

Main single-target rotation is to alternate between Ice Blast and Defile (I assume straight Defile spam will be too costly, but perhaps good enough gear can change that). Wisp can help debuff. Frost Breath can be the main AoE tag. Rimefire is just to take adv of having both Chill and CF available. Gears mostly for Con, w/ some Dex and maybe some End.

Thank you. I will give it a try.

One question. The advantage on Resurgence, Evanescent Emergence, says it applies a stack of Furious and refreshes those stacks. What else procs stacks of Furious? Defiance stacks Defiant.

Sorry, a second question. I noticed they changed the term Crippling Challenge to Break Through. Does the Debilitating Challenge buff Challenges or only Break Through?

    Thanks

They changed the way the old Challenge advs worked. Crip Challenge is no more (nor is Challenging Strikes). The new Challenge is a more consolidated version of the 2 threat advs and has had the potential block disable decoupled from it (which is now a separate adv in Break Through).

Furious can be stacked from various powers across diff sets. Main reason to consider EE on Resurgence is for the hold break, usually (normally Active Offenses can provide that).

Got it thanks for the updated info. They need to change the wording on that specification. :)

Checking in-game real quick, the tooltip has been updated to just mention 'Challenge!', so I think that's just the HeroCreator not being up-to-date.
