Newbie Question - Boosts

I have been getting these boosts (power and damage so far), I have been trying to find online how to use them. I have tried putting them in the equipment slot, in my "armor" spots.

I will keep looking online, but I thought would ask on here as well.

    Do you mean the Red/Green/Blue Power boost item? those are just bugged versions of the boost orbs that fall from enemies. They're completely useless imo.
