Blastestest Blasty Blast Power for Blasters. Of Blasting.

I'm easily distracted and healing and dpsing in this game is too easy.

I'm gonna build a toon around the specs that deal specifically with blast attacks. IIRC there's three trees that mention blast attacks and I'll have to pick two but that's not my dilemma.

Assuming I am going to go with night warrior passive for fasterblaster of blastification, which blast power should I build this toon around? I am wondering if darkness because of the blastronics that blastest like Blaston. Maybe ice.

Maybe dual role AoAC if that affects chargeup speed? Never tried it.

Any suggestions?

Blasts tend to have very low base dps overall, so a rotation that's purely reliant on them will prob do less dps than ones that use blasts conditionally- like alternating between blast taps and a charged heavy attack w/ Preemptive Strike, or using a higher-dps maintain to proc RA and Avenger Mastery.

Ice Blast used to have its old Hard Frost tap-spam to get high dps, but that's been axed. Closest to that now is Ego Blast's MO adv w/ TP Reverb, though TP Reverb is problematic vs. some encounters. Exp Blaster can also be tapped w/ its Death Ray adv. Force Blast gets a dmg bonus against knock-immune targets, so that can be made a bit better than the others (prob mix it w/ Muni's grenades and/or Chest Beam for Crushing debuffs). Other blasts have various utility by applying debuffs and/or CC.

Although AoAC can speed up their charge time, the highest dps will still be using an offensive passive and the ranged dps role. NW is a fine universal pick, though.

I would recommend Infernal Blast since the poison stacks will give you extra damage that keeps going even while you're doing other stuff.​​
