Like real bad, I just wanna play. Looking at my profile my last post was around three years ago. I was reading around the forums to try and scratch the itch, but it just raised questions.
First of all, w'huh? I think they took away the perk of a character slot gained when you hit lvl 40? There also might be a slot limit?!
And after three years do you think I still even have access to my old characters? If I do, has anything happened to my roster?

    It depends on if they were FF slots or not. If they weren't they've done away with subbing. So you would need to either convert them to FF using the z shop /character, or pick up an LTS. The only thing that changed for LTS was the fact that they don't get a free slot at 40. But the stipend lets you buy 5 slots a month, so you'll never need more than that.

    As for your old roster, the data has been archived, so they might not appear right away when you log in again for the first time. They're almost certainly still in there somewhere, though.

    They took that perk away, but instead character slots now cost only 100zen. So if you're LTS, instead of leveling to 40 you now just spend 100zen for your slot. It's not free, but close enough.

    There has always been a slot limit, but the free slot system allowed people to bypass it. I believe they set the character slot limit at 100.

    Subscriptions are gone, so if you had a subscription then you would not have access to any of your sub-gold toons. However, there is a new feature where you can consume Free Form Slots to convert another slot to a Free Form Slot, so eventually you could have access to your sub-gold toons again.

    They released a Premium Pack which gives you some character slots and power coloring. If you were ever a sub, then you get that for free.​​

    My character that I created around 800 days ago was still around when I logged in last month. She was sitting in the tutorial zone. So, it's certainly possible that your stuff is still around.
