How do you manually verify game files?

So after errors and particularly bad crashes, you get a prompt to verify game files when you reopen the launcher. But if you're dealing with lots of crashes, how would you be able to do this without a prompt in Arc, the way that you can do in Steam? I have a friend who needs help in this department pretty badly.

What does 'lots of crashes' mean? Like every 10 minutes?
Maybe checking it's not a faulty hard drive?

The problem is that verifying game files doesn't actually verify all the game files; for at least some files, you have to actually delete the bad files before the game will reload them. However, you can force a scan from the classic launcher, I don't know how to do it from ARC.

I recommend using the legacy launcher anyway. There's no real advantage to using ARC to launch the game, and it won't cost you anything, it's already in your install directory, you just have to give it a more convenient link. I don't remember where and am not on the right computer to check right now, though.
