I really wish I could just tell CO to forcefully update all files not just those I need at the moment. It's getting old to be queued for an event only to be waiting for dozens, or more (53 at one point), of files to update.

Why can't I just click a box and grab the files now? I'd rather have a little downtime at the start of a session than in the middle.

In the launcher, click options, and uncheck On-demand patching. I believe that is what that is.​​

You can. It's in the launcher somewhere, I forget exactly the term (on-demand patching maybe). Turn it off and the next time you launch it will patch everything (which will be slow) and from then on it will update your game at launch time.
