Tank Build - Input Requested

I've been using a heavy weapon tank build for a loooong time and have gotten bored of it. I want to continue being a melee tank but wanted to move away from the Brick sets, and I'm currently eyeing up Dragons Wrath as a ST power after seeing a lot of people having success with it.

Here is what I've come up with:

Dex Tank
v2.4.2-29

Super Stats
Level 6: Strength (Primary)
Level 10: Constitution (Secondary)
Level 15: Dexterity (Secondary)

Talents
Level 1: The Protector (Str: 10, Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8)
Level 6: Martial Focus (Str: 5, Dex: 5)
Level 9: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)
Level 12: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 15: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 18: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 21: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)

Powers
Level 1: Clobber (advantages)
Level 1: Defiance (advantages)
Level 6: Retaliation (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 8: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 11: Steadfast
Level 14: Form of the Tiger (advantages)
Level 17: Void Shift (Emerging Nightmares)
Level 20: Arc of Ruin (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
Level 23: Dragon's Wrath (Rank 2, Rank 3, Challenge!)
Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Masterful Dodge (advantages)
Level 32: Imbue (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Ego Blade Pandemonium (Rank 2, Rank 3, Leave a Mark)
Level 38:
Adv. Points: 31/36

Travel Powers
Level 6: Acrobatics (advantages)
Level 35: Flight (advantages)

Specializations
Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
Strength: Aggression (2/2)
Strength: Brutality (2/2)
Strength: Juggernaut (3/3)
Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
Warden: Elusive (2/2)
Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
Protector: Fortified Gear (3/3)
Protector: Bulwark (2/2)
Protector: Defensive Expertise (2/3)
Protector: Resolute (3/3)
Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Gearing mainly for Con with some Dex, and will be using Dark Speed as a Travel Power.

Just looking for some input on what is missing or ideas on what people might think is required to round the build out. A couple of things come to mind:
- Currently lacking a -Res debuff. May try to get the Will of the Tiger Cub device and eviscerate as the final power, but I'm unsure at this moment. Is a -Res debuff necessarily needed on a tank?
- I'm tempted to try CoAP, but I can't imagine it being that useful in a majority of content since you rarely sit in one spot for an extended period of time outside of cosmics. Does anybody currently have this in their build and find it useful?

PS: I'm incredibly tired at the time of typing this, so it's entirely possible I've forgotten something blatantly obvious for a tank build!

EDIT: Changed the format of the export so it is actually readable this time -.-

I wouldn't say a -resist debuff is necessary for a tank, but it can help w/ threat gen, grinding, and dps checks. On the other side, -dmg debuffs can also be nice, but are harder for tanks to fit in to their builds (power slots are much more of a premium than for a dps).

I assume you meant CoPD instead of CoAP. And yea, CoPD is offers good buffs for any tank (theme permitting), but it kinda depends on the content if its practical or not. Regardless, I can't see anything egregiously off w/ the build.

Though it isn't finalized, Scything Blade on the PTS has a new Shredded-refreshing advantage. That could be worth considering as an Arc of Ruin replacement, and would also work with Steadfast.

I would aim for a bit more END from talents, to help hold the energy you'll get from Defiance ticks.

With 2 ADs, I would opt for Protector Mastery over Strength Mastery.

Protector offers a lot of tough choices; I usually throw at least one point into Unrelenting.

If you're aiming to be a full-service Cosmic tank, a more reliable interrupt/stun would be handy for Phase 1 Kiga. Void Shift can technically do it, but the distance limitation can be an issue.

Thank you both for the input!

    - Yup, I did mean CoPD. I've been tinkering with a PA build and got them mixed up.

    - I actually completely forgot about Scything Blade when it came to PBAoE charge attacks. I'll have to have a look at it, especially if the advantage goes live.

    - I think choosing Strength Mastery was just a reflex thing from building melee dps, as Protector Mastery makes infinitely more sense than Strength Mastery here.

    - I think the last power will be between CoPD and an interrupt/stun. I'll likely be swapping between them over the next couple of weeks to see which I prefer.

Missed this in my first response...

If you can get your crit chance above 20%, Tiger's Courage is a better alternative to Rank 3 Dragon's Wrath.

A small comment regarding Retaliation, be mindful that the damage buff on next hit gets consumed by DoTs and I wouldn't be surprised if it also was consumed by Spark Shield, which is a must have for tanks.

Last I knew getting consumed by DoTs was fixed, though it could have unfixed itself.

I've had instances recently where the buff was getting consumed by dots, or something while I was holding block. It's why I dumped it on my Bestial tank.

    ...

Looks like you tried to export that as html. The boards are back to only taking BBCode, just fyi.

Anyways, I'd get some Challenge advs if its a tank (prob on Arc and Annihilate at least), as those stack w/ the threat adv from the ult. I'd prob also get the No Quarter adv for Arc, since that can also boost dps from Annihilate (can tap it if you just need to apply/refresh the debuff and refresh CF).

The Dex-based setup can work w/ FotTiger here, though Str + Enrage is a more standard choice for HW builds. I may also get Defensive Expertise and/or Protector Mastery in the specs, and maybe get Warden (w/ Elusive) or Sentry over Vindicator. Palliate also has a rather long cd as a heal. You could keep it (as long as you stay away from the threat wipe adv), or get a short-cd heal like Conviction or Absorb Heat w/ CF. Could also consider getting a lunge.

Well, you dropped Eruption w/ adv, so you won't have an easy way to apply CF now. I'd add a CF apply back in there somewhere (Arc can only refresh CF).

Since you have Defiance, you prob will be okay on energy w/o End SS for TReverb, but you can always SS End if energy is an issue. I'd prob also pass on Break Through advs for PvE. I may also get Swole instead of Aggressor in Str PSS, to nab a bit more maxHP, but its up to you. Could also consider Warden spec w/ Elusive, though Sentry is fine on its own too.

Looks alright overall, and I'm assuming your energy is usually fine w/ Defiance. I guess if you wanted to, you could free up 2 adv points for the ER adv on Enrage., and/or ranking a travel power. But its up to you what to prioritize putting adv points into.
