Ego Needs to be Reinstated for Some Archtypes

It's come to my attention that when I have played CO that some of the archtypes have been reformed I guess in Cryptic's eyes to be more balanced to remove Ego from some of the various classes. One of those was Specialist.

Don't get me wrong I can understand game balancing for PvP but lets be honest, who PvPs anymore in CO except maybe for a friendly duel. As how things are going on STO as well.

With that being said to me Ego needs to be brought back for several archtypes and here's why.

Essentiually it allows the hero to recover quickly and when it comes to melee, or even hybrid of melee, and ranged? That is very important. Now when it comes to say Unleashed, sure yeah Bountiful Chi can help assist with this.

But that's just one exception. Yes for Melee it's about high DPS, charging frey into the foe, and hack down before they knock you down. But when it comes to alerts or even events? I think I would rather have someone in my group not only able to do DPS? But still if for a moment back off to reheal and charge back in.

Cryptic needs to understand that's the concept of DPS characters and the game mechanics are no different for other games as well. Even for D&D for that example, and most game mechanics are influenced from D&D in some way.

So a little food for thought which would you want? A glass DPS that does damage but falls every time? Or a regeneration DPS that can take a licking and keep on ticking?
