Origin
In 1938, a brilliant Jewish-German scientist by the name of Dr. Herman Williams built an android at the frontier of modern science, and the scientist treated the machine as his own son. However, six years later, the Nazi Party sought to steal the machine as their weapon against the near-victorious Allied Forces. German soldiers found the scientist's home, and using the brute force that defined their regime, they invaded the laboratory. Knowing that his creation would be used for killing, he sealed the android away, alongside the blue prints needed to create another. Unfortunately, Doctor Williams was shot to death, and his home was burned down. The android, on his end, went into a deep long slumber until decades later, when the location of the machine was unearthed by UNTIL. He was reactivated, and programmed once more with the simple task to protect the helpless and continue on his fathers research as Centurion, the Malleable Man of Metal!
Power and Abilities
Take a Punch: Centurion was designed by his creator to absorb and redirect kinetic energies from within its hard robotic shell.
Built to Last: Centurion was constructed from a unique metal alloy, Centium, discovered by Doctor Williams. The alloy is soft like titanium, but is generally more effective and very resistant to damage.
Connected Computer: UNTIL's renovations have allowed Centurion to connect to the World Wide Web, and he can sift through petabytes of information in order to enhance his own programming.
Eye of the Machine: Centurion is equipped with a set of scanners that can allow him to pull information from his surroundings. He's able to quickly speak and identify languages by scanning any human civilian by their culture and race.
Adjustable: While his large size makes him relatively inflexible, Dr. Williams gave Centurion a modular construction. Centurion has the capacity to separate parts of himself, and have them operate independently. This grants him his signature move, the Rocket Fist - by launching his entire fist, he can strike enemies or objects with incredible force.
Equipment
Dr. Williams, being a man of science, equipped his creation with plenty of instruments. Given Centurion's large size, he was able to fit many of these within his palms or his chest, and it takes very little time for Centurion to switch between separate functions. Included are heat generators that Centurion commonly used to heat up food supplies for the Doctor - and now for his teammates - as well as stocks of other supplies including first aid.
Weaknesses
You Must Be This Small to Enter: Even with telescopic legs, Centurion has difficulty entering smaller spaces due to his large stature. This often requires him to separate from his teammates or separate parts of his body. This, alongside fewer options for escaping an area, can make him vulnerable.
Hot and Cold: Even Centurion's unique construction does not make him invulnerable to temperature issues. Extreme heat could begin to melt his body - extreme cold may slow it.
Vintage: Ultimately, Centurion still has construction dated to the 1930s. The entirety of his programming is in a central Core Matrix that might be vulnerable to high levels of radiation or strong sonic attacks.
