I know there have been years worth of discussions with possible fixes for PFF. Barring a more intensive revamp, maybe the Devs could increase the regen rate further during blocking? Blocking seems to be the primary mechanic intended to recover your shield strength. Barring introducing new shield regen abilities, well timed blocking should be essential to keeping PFF up. In its current state, the regen interval while blocking feels like it's too long. I lose aggro while blocking for an extended period of time and melee feels clumsy.

With a faster regen interval while blocking maybe PFF would be more viable.
