Nw haymaker

Originally i was doing maasacre.

Im unable to post build link through my phome for some reason.
So build uses nightwarrior, str primary (orignally wanted to use dex primary, let me know if its still viable)
For my debuff i was using chest beam but prefer frag grenade.
Not sure what stat form to use. I was using enraged.and i may have no choice bit to keep enraged. No idea what energy unlock to use.
For my 2 aos i was considering locked and imbue. Or intensity and imbue.
No clue what energy unlock to use as well and ultimate (probably unleashed rage)
Ideally i wanted to use dex mods over str..what the dex numbers do for my build in cosmics. I dont want to use unstoppable..even though its also considered a passive and energy unlock for might based powers.
So basicslly i wamt to keep haymaker, frag grenade, night warrior. If possible dex primary with dex mod stacking . I dont want to use a circle for energy. Is it possible? Oh while maintaining highest possible damage output for cosmics?

Eh, you had a topic on this already. Prob would have been better to just post in that thread..

I guess we'll just continue it here, though.

UR scales w/ Enrage stacks, so if not using Enrage as the toggle then I'd prob pass on it.

I may actually opt for Str PSS, cause Expose Weakness works better w/ quick-hitting attacks rather than long charges like Haymaker, and Str PSS w/ a Dex focus, Overpower, and Brutality is still good for melee dps (also gives you some knock resist and more reliable melee cost discount).

Demolish and Bleeds and be refreshed w/ Evis taps (or half-charges), while you use Frag Nade for its debuffs and DoT, and fill time w/ Haymaker charges. Scything Blade was just thrown in for an AoE that can also build FotTiger at anytime (though a number of other powers can do that too). Since Frag Nade and Evis are cds, MSA is a natural fit for the EU (and Int can help reduce cds and costs a lil). Gears mostly for Dex.

Question. .why all the bleeds if my main attack is haymaker which is crushing
  • citizenzero#3567 citizenzero Posts: 171 Arc User
Its as if i should remove haymaker for massacre

Cause Frag Nade can add bleed, and Evis refreshes bleeds innately anyways. Its extra dps that you can roll automatically into your rotation, so why not? The only thing you'd really give up for it is R2 of Frag Nade..

Eviscerate (Messy) refreshes Shredded, rather than Demolish.

I agree that running a STR Primary with stacked DEX Secondary is an appealing setup. Physical Peak, with a large investment in secondary superstats, is pretty great for melee energy management.

There are several different Crushing debuffs in the game. Since you're running Night Warrior instead of Unstoppable, your energy setup will likely depend on which debuffs you want to use, and which energy unlock works with those associated powers; like Flow's MSA example above, or Chaos's Thermal Reverb build from the other thread.

Here's one that uses Chi Manipulation (designed as a retcon build):

Against a boss, open with Elbow Slam to apply Demolish as a Crushing debuff, Chi Flame for the energy unlock, and a charge attack for Form of the Tiger. Tap Backhand Chop to keep Chi Flame and Demolish active throughout the fight. Haymaker as the main attack.

Arc of Ruin is your spammable AoE, another Crushing debuff, and builds Form of the Tiger whenever you want. You could use Imaginary Weapons to make it look like a backfist; or if you find a weapon skin you like, you could swap Clobber/Retaliation for Bludgeon/Guard to see that skin on other powers.

Devastating Strike is a respectable ultimate that works well with the build. If it fits your theme, you could also consider Whirling Dragon Strike. It's Slashing damage, but the Overpower debuff is very useful for a team. A Radion's Revenge device can give you another Crushing debuff in preparation for damage checks.

I'd avoid using Elbow Slam and Backhand Chop against the Kiga dogs, unless you've coordinated with the tank to interrupt the dogs yourself. An occasional hit from the energy builder can give you energy to get through that phase.

I left a couple open powers and spare advantage points. Options to fill out the build could include a self-heal, a self-rez, an ally rez, another Active Offense/Defense, a threat wipe, a lunge, or you could bring Frag Grenade back.

Oh yea, you're right. I had the wrong debuff in mind. Sry bout that, Citizenzero. But yea, there's many Crushing debuffs and ways to refresh Demolish, which could replace Evis in my build.

(I guess if you have Frag Nade w/ Open Wounds already you don't really need a bleed refresh anyways- assuming you use the grenade on cd.)

Some other options for applying the Demolish debuff:
    • Demolish (the attack from the Might tree)
    • Iron Chain with Demolishion
    • Thundering Kicks with Demolishing Strikes
    • One Hundred Hands with Demolishing Strikes
From that list, Demolish would probably fit the build best, since it would also trigger Form of the Tiger.
