Ice Grenade's Stun/Root effect is delayed (even further)

Ice Nade's CC effect seem to be delayed in about 3 secs after activation, even at close range. I usually use this to interrupt the Subjugator's(whatever they're called) triple worm summon in Elder Worms Domain in QWZ. Because of this delay, I often miss interrupting/stunning the summoning of these Subjugators. It gets real annoying.
