SO it came to my attention that after YEARS of beinga thing. The Super S&M are now incompatible of use together. Its been a thing for more half a decade so... My biggest question now, WHY all of the sudden we cant use them together anymore?
So here's my suggestion, allow players to use both Super Magnifier and Shrinkers together.

There should be a 3rd item which allows you to get a height that is not so super giant. ALSO, put that item in the exchange vendor so you can trade in either a super mag or shrinker to get it.

Without an explanation from those in the know, I'm stumped by it.

To me such a statement is absurd. The developers want the game to be fun, we want happy players, we want the game we work on to thrive, because y'know, it's our job.
We don't do things out of spite, upsetting players and taking away things for the giggles makes no financial sense.
If a bug is addressed, that strongly indicates that it had some sort of negative impact on the game and fixing it would be more beneficial than not.
We won't always give a detailed explanation on how a bug worked or how it specifically negatively impacted the game when we address them. We don't want to run risks if its able to be reproduced again.
A mistake I see a lot of people make is assume that a bug is harmless because they personally have not seen any ill effects of it. If a bug that players enjoyed was truly harmless, then in all likelihood it would be made into a feature or just left alone. If it's fixed, then there are strong implications that it was doing something to cause harm to the game/player experience.
We are aware there are other bugs. Some bugs are super easy to fix, others take days/weeks to investigate, find the cause and implement a fix. We don't always have that kind of time to dedicate. It doesn't mean we won't eventually get to them, it just might take some time.
My super cool CC build and how to use it.
Stopping it is, of course, pretty impossible. It could have been reduced though.... in-game also.
Thanks for replying to the OP and the other person who was frustrated by it in this thread, @kaizerin

Hell...you even repeated it. Yet you keep saying it was harmless fun.
It’s not harmless fun.
Growth exploits cause issues. End of story.
Irrelevant if you do. The dev pretty much came in here and said it did. The dev also said they may not be able to give an outright explanation of why, to avoid anyone reproducing it.
With that said a middle level growth modifier like was said earlier in the thread is a great suggestion.
