Vampire-Blood Empowerment Build Issues

kjames91kjames91 Posts: 186 Arc User
Hello!

I am in the works of making a vampire build that becomes stronger physically by blood. This build I wanted to run as a tank in Cosmics on survivability and maybe soloing it. I somewhat made this build and any feedback on it would be great. Thanks for any input added.

    Hi!

Nub here, so ill ask questions first.

    1-Why two forms (Enrage/AspectoBestial)?
2-Have you checked Supernatural Power or Wild Thing as an energy unlock?
3-I used to like Devour Essence with phlebotomist, specialy id the energy unlock is Supernatural Power, have you checked it compared to Bite?
4-Could Massacre or Eviscerate fit better into the build than Haymaker?

Just commenting on theme, but I'd put Endorphin Rush on Enraged so you get healed when you attack. And probably some kind of Life Drain power, maybe Devour Essence. Though if you're building for cosmics you might not have room for fluff. But you do have an extra slot at the end.

    1. I just realized that both are forms. (Didn't think that through.)
    2. I have. Not sure which one would be a better fit.
    3. I haven't thought about that. Bite doesn't have the best HoT, so I'll look into that.
    4. Yes, it could. Just figuring out ways to make aggro better.

    Thanks for commenting!

Do you actually want to tank? Cause there's no Challenge advs in that build. If you just want to be a sturdy dps, I may run in Hybrid role w/ Invuln as the passive. If you aren't going to tank mobs urself, then the Tank role is giving you threat you don't need, while lowering ur dmg.

Imo, there's no need to have both Thrash and DE. I may decide on one of them (DE is easier to setup, though Thrash can do more healing w/ 5x bleed). Here's an example hybrid-dps w/ Thrash:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform
    v2.4.2-29

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Strength (Primary)
    Level 10: Constitution (Secondary)
    Level 15: Endurance (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Devastator (Str: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 10, End: 8)
    Level 6: Paramilitary Training (Str: 3, Con: 3, Rec: 3, End: 3)
Level 9: Physical Conditioning (Str: 5, Con: 5)
Level 12: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
    Level 15: Bodybuilder (Str: 5, End: 5)
Level 18: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 21: Relentless (Str: 5, Rec: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Infernal Bolts (advantages)
Level 1: Shred (Rank 2, Penetrating Strikes)
Level 6: Aspect of the Bestial (advantages)
    Level 8: Supernatural Power
    Level 11: Invulnerability (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 14: Epidemic (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 17: Thrash (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 20: Eviscerate (Rank 2, Messy)
    Level 23: Pounce (Furious Rush)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
    Level 29: Masterful Dodge (advantages)
    Level 32: Antagonize (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 35: Life Essence (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 38: Rebirth (advantages)
    Adv. Points: 32/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Strength: Swole (2/3)
    Strength: Physical Peak (3/3)
    Strength: Brutality (2/2)
    Strength: Juggernaut (3/3)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (3/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (2/3)
    Mastery: Strength Mastery (1/1)

Builds 5x bleed and Shredded w/ Shred, then channels Thrash while taping Evis between every 1-2 channels (to proc stuff and refresh debuffs). I threw Life Essence in there if you wanted an AoE heal and/or a heal you can use at range. Gears mostly for Str and Con, w/ some End and Rec for energy.
