You can drop the rocks from nightmare mobs, I dropped 1 earlier

I already got one. I got it while doing the Colossus fight, but i don't remember if it was random drop or OM loot.

drop rate is abysmal... got one so far...

in 3 days I've had 2 drop. I need 65 more, and the event runs 2 weeks... if there is no plan to up the drop rate, there's no reason for me to even bother trying to get the attack rock...

EDIT: a quick look on the AH shows just how low the drop rate is...

would you rather it was "Decorative Invasion and Nightmare Tights".... mind you the tights might actually be quite good... until Bumburger uses them for one of their specialty costumes.
2 weeks of Nightmare invasion, ok that cuts out levelling, back to mineboredomscape

Haha yep. I was so excited to finally finish up the purple rock part but I've only had 1 rock drop after nearly 40 runs.

I suspect at the current drop rates many of us will have 25 purple rocks for the first tier within the next 6 years. On the bright side many of us will be making crazy cash in the AH on the rare rock we do get.
