Eidolon is not a good place to test out your new builds. It would be better to start at the other three cosmics, and after you are doing well at all those you can try Eidolon.
People who don't want to fight Eido, don't have incentive and that is totally ok. Nobody is interested in bending over backwards to bring in more people who don't want to be there.
Kigatilik and Qwyjibo don't have any damage threshold to meet or surpass. Surviving the storm or lava pools are what's needed.
KIGATILIK: If you are super squishy, then you need to stand in the center of the podium with everyone else, as near to the various healers as you can, and BLOCK the storm for its' duration. Dying in this event is bad because it heals Kigatilik for a large amount. Hence the people that point you out for dying all of the time.
QWYJIBO: The lava pools are easily overlapped and can kill you even through a r3 block. But, even if you die you aren't negatively impacting the event. It's only if you are hitting a CCed heart are you "doing it wrong".
TELEIOSAUR: Block all AoE bubbles. Stand with the others. If you are dying to the breath or tail, STOP STANDING "THERE". However, that said, if you aren't bringing good dps for the DPS CHECK (5 seconds of burst dmg), then you are forcing other players to make up the difference. Many do. But you should be trying to do your best at this point.
Overall, there are usually players that do "call outs" about what most everyone should be doing at that moment. Don't worry too much about doing dps if you are a healer. However, unless you are healing the baby dino tank, you should be doing whatever dps you can to Teleiosaur no matter what your role when the DPS CHECK call goes out.
