Logged out players do not despawn sometimes

I think this is a recent one. For me anyway.

Every now and then. When I'm talking with someone, or send them a tell.
I'd get this as a response from the game:

[System] @handle is not online.

But I can still see their character standing in front of me.
Though, they're not online when I search for their name either.

I can still view their bio perfectly fine.
And it seems to only happen some of the time.

I think it might happen if their game crashes, or they simply press X in windowed mode.
Since then it might not close properly. And send the necessary info to the server.

But I think think this was a problem before, as I've never encountered this until recently. Not sure how recently though.

I think your character is left in-game for a while for the chance that your connection comes back (you can SNR for 30-60s and return); actually removing the character forces load screens and the like.

And sure, it would make sense if the character didn't despawn for 30-60 seconds.
But this character I stood next to, he was there for at least another half-hour, before I left to do something else. :P
