Alright Champions, i've decided to host a coloring contest here on the forums because I can't for the life of me find the right combo to allow you all to show off your creative talent. I will post a work in progress of some of my concepts for you to tweak to your liking, then you will post the finished result here in this thread. Feel free to change the texture and color of each outfit, but please leave each piece of clothing the same.

The contest will run until the submission I like best is chosen. Winner gets one Cosmic Key of Power mailed to your @handle. If this is a success I will post more works in progress with more keys as prizes.

First outfit concept is as follows:

I'd be interested for the sake of the challenge but the image code is mangled by the upload site. I forget what the correct one is to use now.

Edited the image to be hosted at Imgur now, let me know if it's fixed.

Most of the image hosting sites don't maintain the costume code, but lucky for you we have a workaround. The CCM is a quick and easy tool to use. Sometimes it can be finicky, but it is probably the quickest way to share costumes. Just follow the directions in that thread to set it up and you should be able to create a persistent code the rest of us can use to download the costume with our own CCM.

  • Alright, downloaded that costume manager and received this code: 20rmT

Does someone else need to have this program installed to be able to import the costume?

I'd imagine whoever wants to use the file....
ImgBB doesn't change the code of the costume file.

They would need the CCM program to recognize the code you provided, or know how to extract the data from the file-sharing service the program uses. Your code worked for me, when trying to import into the CCM.

Some image-sharing services respect the original file data. I used imgbb for the following:

Costume jebidiahbeetus 4643 Eve Adams v4 CC Comic Page Blue 560191576

Save that image into the CO screenshots folder, for anyone looking to download the costume.

  • So far I have received zero submissions for this contest.

Disappointed, as I have more characters whom i'd really like to finish if I could only get the color right. :/

Sorry I never got back to this. I work retail and got bogged down during the holiday season. Hopefully better late than never. I felt the base outfit wasn't bad but the color scheme was a little flat. In an odd subversion of that, I attempted a PRIMUS color scheme inspired by the old vendors (as opposed to the generic soldiers in the desert). While I tried to maintain the costume pieces as you asked, I did alter a few material settings:

In hindsight, I should have made the knees black.
