So i've been wanting to make a build that is split between defense and offense equally. Not the best damage dealer, not the best defender, but an all-around (not including support).
Is it better to go defensive passive for this, or offensive passive? And what stat recommendations would you make? To be more specific, this would be for a might based build.

Here's a super-generic dual-spec might build (if you're willing to drift from theme a bit, there's several crushing debuffs that are less annoying to apply than Demolish). It doesn't have Challenge so it can't really be a primary tank, but it will be plenty durable even in dps role.

I think a dual passive build works best for what you're trying to accomplish as well. Here's my HW build for Ragged Reaper:

If this is for leveling you'll need to swap some powers around for convenience, but otherwise it's good to go. You'll want to gear for about 200-250 CON and everything else in STR. If you want to main tank, swap those numbers or have 2 sets of gear, if you never want to tank you can get rid of the Challenge Adv in Cleave. Also, I know that Thermal Reverberation scales off END, but after lots of testing I found that REC allows this build to attack non stop from the get go whereas END has a slow build that quickly falls off if Clinging Flames is not refreshed in time.
The rotation is very simple: full charge Arc of Ruin for No Quarter and Disorient, Cleave until it procs Clinging Flames (3rd hit is 100%), tap Arc of Ruin to refresh No Quarter and Clinging Flames, then I go to town with Annihilation occasionally tapping Arc to refresh debuffs.
I have successfully tanked Cosmics with this build and while I haven't done a parse on it in a while (used to be 6K dps before the Ego Surge nerf), it generally scores in the top 5 on the scoreboard when in DPS role. For all other content it works great in hybrid with Defiance and my DPS gear.
