Looking for some help on builds, I have a few this time...but I'll update a couple at a time.

Name: Edmund Foe Hammer II
Description: A Paladin/Templar
Powers: Heavy Weapon Broadsword and Heal. I don't play to do much team heals...but it would be nice to have an ability that is either/or. I've never been a healer before, so maybe it would be a nice practice for when I do team.
Optional: Single blade attack (there is a nice hammer that looks great with his look)

Name: Nocturnal Man
Description: Batman meets um...Wolverine, i suppose.
Powers: Gadgets and Bestial attacks. So basically Nighthawk but with claws instead of hand to hand.
Optional: Nothing really, I do enjoy the way Antagonize looks on toon, and

So a couple of questions regarding this one.

1.) As far as solo content, would this build be pretty squishy? I was testing it out in the PH and even though I'm still 33 he didn't fare too well...could be user error.

2.) I wasn't expecting Eldritch & Pillar (although pillar is starting to grow on me *divine powers*) if you were to make this more of a heavy build what would you change, maybe 2/3 Heavy 1/3 healer?

3.) I really enjoyed using Skullcrusher on my current build and Annihilate is mucho fun. What would you take out or replace to add skullcrusher? Or Would Annihilate be all you need.

Thanks again for the help. I am still testing this build out...trying to get the hang of it.

Its a team-based build, so it prob won't be as good for soloing. I suppose you could use Invuln or Regen and Hybrid role for more defenses, though basic stats (and energy) will be lower, you'll lose a team aura, and you won't do as much dps as w/ AoPM + Hybrid. Other option is to use AoRP over AoPM: more defense and ally defense (and can still switch to Support w/ it), but lower dps and energy.

Skullcrusher kinda takes up the same niche as Annihilate: single-target dmg. I suppose you could use Skullcrusher for trash that you don't want to KB, but Brimstone is also good enough for that w/o having to take up another power slot.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'heavy build'. Heavy Weapons? I would've taken Expulse in Celestial over Pillar, but Expulse has a cast time so I figured its less convenient for melee. You could get a lunge instead, though a healing rune can be pretty nice.

    Yeah I meant heavy weapon.

I think I might one with regen/invul and AoRP. And just keep either or on annihilate or skullcrusher. I'll see about keeping pillar.

What that mean I should remove eldritch? I didn't really care for it when I was testing it, and theme wise.

Would his specs need to change if I make more heavy weapons? Maybe STR, CON End and maybe gear for PRE?

Oh and the other build is much fun, I've been enjoying testing it out.

If you say Eldritch, I assume you mean the energy builder? That's pretty easy to replace (and shouldn't be that important to a high-level build). You can take Radiance in Celestial if you want, and keep the same power progression. Pillar is the only other Sorcery attack, and I only took that cause it was convenient and could still fit the theme (esp if you can re-color it if you had diff visuals in mind).

Str PSS can work for that build, though if still using Compassion then Pres (or Rec) should still be the focus stat (maybe STR/Pres/Con).

Thanks! I'll give it a try and see how it goes.

Yeah, was using phone and didn't realize how much I butchered that entire post.

    Name: The Inspectre
    Description: Ghost Cop
Powers: Munition and Single blade and optional
Optional: Mystic powers. Basically he still replies on the old fashion stuff but any sort of boost would be mystic. No actual attack.

    Hopefully this is fitting:

    (Unnamed Build) - Freeform
    v2.3.2-26

    Super Stats
    Level 6: Dexterity (Primary)
    Level 10: Recovery (Secondary)
    Level 15: Constitution (Secondary)

    Talents
    Level 1: The Chiller (Dex: 10, Con: 10, Rec: 8, End: 10)
    Level 6: Acrobat (Dex: 5, Con: 5)
Level 9: Quick Recovery (Con: 5, Rec: 5)
    Level 12: Impresario (Dex: 5, Rec: 5)
Level 15: Boundless Reserves (Con: 5, End: 5)
    Level 18: Accurate (Dex: 5, End: 5)
Level 21: Amazing Stamina (Rec: 5, End: 5)

    Powers
    Level 1: Steady Shot
Level 1: Slash (Rank 2, Serrated Blade)
    Level 6: Relentless
Level 8: Form of the Tempest
Level 11: Night Warrior (Rank 2, Rank 3, Silent Running)
Level 14: Bullet Hail (Rank 2, Aggression, Extra Bullets)
    Level 17: Conviction (Rank 2, Rank 3)
    Level 20: Reaper's Embrace (Rank 2, Rank 3)
Level 23: Void Shift (Emerging Nightmares)
    Level 26: Resurgence (Rank 2)
Level 29: Holdout Shot (Stim Pack, Open Wound)
    Level 32: Antagonize (Rank 2)
Level 35: Crippling Coils (Barbed Chains)
    Level 38: Rebirth
    Adv. Points: 34/36

    Travel Powers
    Level 6:
    Level 35:

    Specializations
    Dexterity: Gear Utilization (3/3)
    Dexterity: Power Swell (2/2)
    Dexterity: Deadly Aim (3/3)
    Dexterity: Expose Weakness (2/2)
    Warden: Fortified Gear (3/3)
    Warden: Ruthless (2/2)
    Warden: Upper Hand (2/3)
    Warden: The Best Defense (3/3)
    Vindicator: Aggressive Stance (2/2)
    Vindicator: Merciless (3/3)
    Vindicator: Focused Strikes (2/3)
    Vindicator: Mass Destruction (3/3)
    Mastery: Dexterity Mastery (1/1)

Its mostly a melee build, but still has some Muni for AoE and ranged. FotS (still Dex focus) or AotB (Str focus) can also be used as the toggle instead. Gears mostly for Dex, w/ some Con and Rec/End, and skips severity rating when it attains Dex Mastery.
