Ego Storm: Ranged AoE or Nah?

The description says this is a Multipower; you target yourself and its a PBAoE or you can target a foe and it SHOULD be an AoE centered on that target, up to 5 foes in a 25ft sphere. Testing it out on the training dummies in the PH, it appears to only be a PBAoE whether you target a foe or not.

My questions to you, community, are:

• Is this a known mis-print on the power description?
  
• Am I doing something wrong?
  
• Does this need to be reported?

If it says that then it's a typo, cause it doesn't work that way. It's always a pbaoe.

Pretty sure it's tagged as multi because of malevolent manifestation.

Yea, that's the reason. The 2nd version of Ego Storm on the full tooltip is MM's; part of MM is that it also boosts the cost of Ego Storm, and the lower one's tooltip reflects that. The radius is also erased in MM's tooltip; I notice from testing that MM's seems to also reduce the radius of Ego Storm slightly- possibly cause it doesn't directly emanate from ur character anymore.
