Hey everyone! I'm back with another review, and this time it's Sorcery! After researching and some experimenting, I have a few questions about the viability of an end-game DPS Sorcery build:
- I chose to go Dex PSS instead of Ego PSS, just for funsies. If I were to switch back to Ego PSS for the cost discount and critical severity specs, would I see a drop in DPS? How much Ego should I stack if it were in my best benefit to switch back? Currently, with my enchantment and curse both active, Soul Beam strikes for around 2.5-2.7K crits.
- I've read that to get the most out of Soul Beam, you need both an enchantment and a curse running. For the curse, I chose HoS as it was a nice 'fire and forget' sort of power. I was a little stumped on an enchantment, so I just picked CoAP as it was a power I'm familiar with and also because I'm running into some energy issues. Is there a better option?
- I chose Night Warrior for the 10% damage resistance. Is there an argument to instead chose a passive like Ego Form or Shadow Form?
Thank you in advance!

Spellcaster itself counts as an Enchantment, though taking it means you'll have to refresh/stack it by other means if using R3 Soul Beam (like Hex or Pillar). Alternative approach is to take Conc and use Pillar of Poz w/ Mystified adv- it can proc Conjuring, give an Enchantment w/ the adv, and heal you a bit if ur in it. Eld Blast may not end up being necessary either.
I would say that the Wisp in Infernal can handle all of this w/o needing stuff like Hex or Pillar or Spellcasting (Illumination adv for Enchantment, Hexed adv for Curse and debuff), but iirc Wisp is still bugged as to not properly refresh Hexed when speced for it.
Night Warrior is a fine dps passive here. I don't think there will be a marked diff between it and something like Enchanter or Shadow Form; I may pick them for their other effects (like Sneak or SForm's threat reduction).
