Remove Flaming Flip Flop? (Blazing Speed and others)

I was wondering now that we have auras and all (and have had them for awhile) is it possible to remove the unsightly flaming flip flop from the bottoms of our feet on the fire related running travel powers? Or is that still not possible? If I remember correctly, when flaming speed was introduced, we had to have the flip flops because they didn't know how to anchor the burning effects to the bottom of the feet. Feel free to correct me if that's wrong. Anyway, if this is possible, it'd be appreciated!
