I left Neverwinter about 8 months ago and returned to playing Star Trek Online. I played STO since it was a subscription game, I can't play STO due to the Direct X upgrade back in March. Champions Online is unaffected by the DX upgrade. I don't get the error message when launching CO. While I miss STO and somewhat miss what Neverwinter, I am now proud to be a Linux user and player here in Champions Online.
My Rigs
I have 2 machines with 100% Kubuntu installed on them; my old desktop PC running 14.04 from years ago still only 2 GB of RAM and sporting an old 5000 series Radeon HD 1 GB video card. I also purchased a new laptop with i-5 core, 16 GB of RAM. I blew Windows 10 off it and set up Kubuntu 16.04 both are using WINE 2.0. At my clinic, we now have a total of 12 Linux Debian workstations networked to the local hospital, but those are for work as we never play at work. LOL
Other games I play on my spare time with Linux OS are; Guild Wars, Guild Wars 2, and Black Desert.
I would like to know of others in our community.
