I know the Automaton AT is far from perfect, and even after the PA update a months back, it still feels kinda clunky: a ranged AT with multiple powers designed for melee range? Aside from the pull powers and Chest Beam's close-up adv, Mini Mines and Particle require enemies to be right top of you. Granted, even ranged builds need something to deal with melee attackers, but both of these are definitely meant to be part of the Auto's main attack rotation.
My proposed changes would make them a bit more optimized for ranged builds.
Mini Mines:
-Now considered melee, ok fair enough for a trap theme, but Targeting Computer only enhanced RANGED Tech tree attacks, so it does nothing for Mini Mines.
-My suggestion is for the Wall of Fire adv to not only increase number of mines but make it tagged as a ranged attack.
Particle Mine:
-Make it chase after target enemy before detonating (like Ball Lightning or Viper Demolitionist's Sonic Bomb)
