people are going there, killing robots and usually setting of the transmitters too but making no attempt to do the boss fight, so it keeps failing
Now I'm curious. Were the NemCon costume pieces just lost all these years, and recently rediscovered by the dev team, or have they known where they were all along and just didn't take the time to add them back in?
I think the dev team knew about them but didn't bother with it. Thankfully, Kaizerin actually listens so she knew we would want the old costumes back.
Sort of listens to certain people you mean. We're still getting character bound auras and emotes in the event vendors, and recog prices are still absurd.

and some of us get this message when queued

9:31] [Team] Misha@ashstorm1: i keep having a message telling me "already a member of nemesis confrontation"...
so the queue is borked.
4 people leave group, i get shoved in with a random group....

The reason event currencies exist is to get people to play that event. While the currency tab is a bit of a mess, rewards that are restricted to specific content are a desirable way to get people to play more than one set of content.
Why the hell do you think people played events before event currency existed? Hugs and milk? No, it was for drops to sell. That didn't change.
If I was busy with my life and knew I wouldn't have much time to play, I would most like just say "f it" to the whole event. However, if I knew I would have at least a bit of time to get currency that could be used for any event, I'd probably log in.
There is a borderline useless store to sell event items all year round, except you can't actually farm that currency until the event is up. If only one currency type was used for all events, that store would be useful instead of mostly being a waste of space. What's that? I can play the current event to get stuff that I missed from the previous event? And I don't have to wait until the end of the year? Wow! That's such a great quality of life improvement for people that have lives outside of video games!

The current event is not at the level of the "Cosmics", whatever label the Liberator has.

People who have lives outside of video games don't generally spend so much time on forums griping about not being able to get video game stuff.
Could we get access to Nemcon even without the 5-man team like in TA(Epic)? So we can just solo it instead of having to waste time waiting for a group.

Oh you know what? I guess you're right. What the hell was I thinking? Grinding the same event multiple times a day, for diminishing returns, and maybe, JUST MAYBE I can afford TWO items from the vendor.
Hey, it's not just a travel-power device. It also has +3% dodge.
So that should be the reason that the running can't be increased to rank 2? I didn't even say full out rank 3 like how other travel devices are, and the extra dodge isn't really a thing I notice in this in comparison to what I have already.
