Pistols and Claws ?

I've got an idea in my head for a new char...using handguns(pistols) and claws. Would these two themes mess or should I attempt a pistol/brawler type?

Assuming the pistols and claws work, does anyone have a build lying around they could share.

Sure. I'd prob use Pistols for AoE and for Armor Piercing's debuff (to add to Shredded)- otherwise you can do the usual VFangs -> DC thing for claws vs. tough targets:
