    Heights and sizes are intentionally set the way they are. Again important NPCs are made taller and larger to stand out. This is just an industry standard, not just a Champions thing. Furtniture and such int he game world is also larger because you got body types that have swaths of range in size and they are made that way to accommodate the largest, natural body size (without growth devices or powers) as possible.
    Are you saying that some chairs are more important than others? :D

    And gives us fire trucks that are accessable by the default height people. Not dwarfs and halflings. Or hobbitsis. Or atleast scale the trucks to match the regular automobiles measurements.

    The measuring sticks are on the inside of each of the little doorways that has a tailor there. You have to look hard because sometimes the little numbers on them don't render immediately, even with the camera zoomed in close.

    At least in my experience looking for them. It could be on my end though

    Yeah, you kind of have to "guess-timate" and then check the ruler and adjust. But as noted, if you use that scale, all the environment pieces will be huge compared to you, so it's often a futile, frustrating effort.

    Yes, and we want them to intentionally stop doing that and fix the size of everything. I mean, what's the point of a persistent world if its scale is crapped up?

    And they aren't. Plain and simple. They even do it in STO even if you don't notice it. It's to help people discern things from one another. I mean let's be realistic, if Shadow Destroyer was the same size as every other player, you know how fast he would get lost in the sea of players?

    Just because they want to make the NPCs stand out is no reason to make all the environment pieces match THEIR scale.

    And, yes, they're not going to change it. This thread's really nothing more than a frustration vent.

    Don't tell me what I notice or not. Speak for yourself, please. I have complained about this exact thing in STO as well. And guess what - the STO devs are doing a lot better with cale than before. It's not perfect, but they have still listened.

    And as for Shadow Destroyer, I was under the impression that he was bigger because of magical shennanigans, FWIW.

    Sorry, but I'm serious about this, and so are others, and there is indeed precedent in other games in which devs did listen to player concerns about scale. Your "enjoy the game as it's presented" mantra doesn't have any power here.

    I...actually don't see what the problem is. Unless you have a toon with mutant-like proportions. I have a toon that's 5'0" in headcanon, 5'0" in the tailor, and 5'0" when standing by the ruler. I've had friends confirm what I was seeing too since sometimes it's difficult to get a good angle with the camera.

    Also when I do things like change the overall Height and/or the Leg Length by more than a couple clicks. I then click the overall Height or the Leg Length back and forth by one tic. To me it seems to even out proportions.

    Also with the scaling of objects in the game, I just accept it. Not everything in the real world is scaled to everybody.

    The size of NPCs is a different subject to what the OP is talking about.... size of environmental pieces.

    Given the genre, sometimes when somebody gets super big it's both for gameplay reasons and for story reasons. For example, Eido is big because he became a Edom thingy... they're all pretty big.

    Aye, and that's fine. The rest of you want mismatched scale? All the devs have to do to make it consistent with lore is to excuse the scale via lore. That's all. But we're all getting worked up over i it's justified or not. No need IMHO.

    In the first image here my guy is 6'4". Who's the desk made for?

    Second image my guy is around 6'!". The Argent guy has to be close to that. That's a folding table. Usually about 36" wide and 30" high, length can vary. Something seems odd here too :/

    And what really draws my attention is that there can be other items all around these misfit objects that are within a scale that makes sense.​​

    No, there are no certainties in life. However, 8 years of this game's history does indicate it. There's a laundry list of things that will come before "fixing" something they did on purpose, that would likely require manually going in and changing the sizes on each and every piece of environmental flavor. Cryptic-code doesn't play well with making sweeping changes easily.

    I'd bet big money on "spend a lot of time going around adjusting the size of various objects and npcs throughout the game by a little bit" not even qualifying as low priority. More like no priority. Especially when it comes to NPCs that large groups are fighting - those are staying big as a QOL issue. If it bugs you just remember we have gas that when you spray it on someone makes them grow by like a foot. For every little size inconsistency there's a hundred comic book explanations just waiting to be applied to it.
