It also had a class called ninja. I don't recall there being anything called “mutant” though. So, really, all the other effort was wasted.
Fun fact, tortles are named that because the English-speaking world can't agree on the meanings of the words tortoise and turtle. It was just easier to smush the two words together than to figure out which regional definition to go by.

And throw in a clubbed tail (and again, a technological version of the same) for good measure, because maybe that turtles is actually an ankylosaurus.
Organic: Three or four shell patterns on a large or small shell, an option for a plain shell, spikes around the edge of the shell, or a spiky shell, two or three heads with a couple of different patterns on each. Tail comes in regular turtle or ankylosaurus variations, with the ankylosaurus option being "clubbed" or "spiked" (the club has spikes on it).
Tech: Three different shell style options with an option for spikes or a saw blade-type pattern around the edge. The tail has "basic" (resembling a flexible tube ala the original Ankylosaur artwork), clubbed, and spiked (both in the newer Ankylosaur style). Add a new tech helmet design (or two), a new chest and leg choice with a turtle-inspired pattern, and maybe some new hand, foot, belt, and shoulder options.
