Hello, I'm trying to make a weather character along the lines of Ororo Munroe. Whould the specs below work or would I have problems with energy?

You'll want a means to reliably put up Negative Ions to optimize LArc's dps. That's usually via Ball of Lit w/ adv, Thunderstrike, or Electrocute w/ adv. If you keep Ball of Lit, you could take Ionic Reverb as the EU. If keeping Overdrive for the universal aspect, though, note that it scales mostly w/ End.

Ah, I see, thanks for the explanation. Was thinking of making an electric toon down the line after this one that uses mostly electric powers (I'll used what you posted here for that toon) so I wanted to try something different here. I have a hybrid weather/support toon that uses AoPM but she runs out of energy using Overdrive, switched to MSA and it solved the problem, but it's a lot of work constantly pressing all the cooldown powers. Was hoping for something simpler here. How about Con/Rec/End for this toon while retaining Overdrive and and using mods at 2 Con/2 Rec/1End/1Ego?

EGO/Con/End and some Rec talents and/or a Rec 2ndary gear could do fine for a good ranged dps SS setup here. Con PSS isn't really made for dps builds.

The build is alright for a Wind dps overall, though I'm unsure of your planned attack rotation. You may want to decide to make Evasive Maneuver a threat wipe (though that also increases its cd). May also consider replacing Whirlwind's low dps w/ another defensive tool like a block enhancer, or maybe MD for when ur channeling Hurricane on tough mobs.

Ok, how does this look? Force Shield is already in there. Took MD and SoM. Honestly, I haven't thought much about the power rotation. Perhaps just Hurricane everything and at higher levels use Typhoon as an opening move and Gust from a distance. What would you recommend as more useful power or rotation?

Wind is tricky since it technically doesn't have a great single-target attack. Its highest dps (per target), no-cd attack is Typhoon, which can hit hard enough, but its also tough to afford spamming that normally.

You could try an Avenger setup alternating between Typhoon and Gust w/ Preemptive Strike, but that means lower defense and offense from not using Guardicator, and you may still need to end build even then. Gust spam alone won't be too great, but I suppose it'll fare alright considering its much lower energy demand. If going that route for single target, then I may throw in a Disorient source to boost its dmg another 10%, or maybe one of the Crushing dmg debuffs from another powerset.

Ok. I hear what you're saying. I'm currently leveling this build at the moment, so let's see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, I may end up using the earlier combination build.
