My client has frozen in yet another indoor mission instance

I was playing "Why'd it have to be purple?" when my game froze within a minute of me being in the instance! So far I've experienced this with Museum Heist Alerts, and two random missions given to me by NPCs. I used to be able to play this game just fine on this very same laptop a couple years ago. Now I'm freezing?

Is this just me or are other people having this problem? Is the error with my laptop? Do I need to run a fix on my client?

I'm frustrated. I'm one of those rare players who actually LIKES running the repeatable mission content a thousand times on a thousand toons!

Is anyone else noticing issues with these specific maps? I tried verifying my files, but no dice. I'm going to try it again and from there, I guess uninstall and reinstall? Maybe recovery my computer to factory settings? :P

Now that I'm thinking on it, sometimes my game doesn't exit properly and it'll crash. I have a sneaky suspicion that this has to do with the Arc platform... thingy...

I ran a test. I freeze in the same spot every time in the "Why'd it have to be purple?" mission instance.

I always freeze in the first hallway, right as I pass that pillar to the right. It is a conspiracy! The pillars were the true villains all along!

But in all seriousness, at least I'm figuring something out. I tested it on another toon, and she stuttered for a split second but managed to almost get to the door before the client froze again, this time permanently. I'm not sure what's going on but there's either something buggy in the instance itself, or maybe there's something my computer just doesn't agree with. I have no idea.

Anyway, just reporting progress.
