Life Essence vs. Baron's Block

I noticed that when using life essence on him during that it seems to be counting as damage being dealt to him and hitting me very heavily even though it only heals. I first encountered it when the power was first released on live but didn't know what was happening.

Also found a weird situation/loophole that makes it work like I think it should sometimes. If I was already maintaining the power before he started blocking then I would get the damage but if I waited a few seconds after he started doing it and then started using it I wouldn't get it. Weird thing is that it only seems to work sometimes.

I guess what I want to know is whether life essence was intended to be counted as dealing damage towards him or not, but i'm guessing it wasn't and this is just a bug cause as of right now I can't heal anyone during the block like I can with all the other healing powers which is terrible cause it is one of my melee support characters main heal.

Likely LE is designed to still register 'damage' ticks ala Lifedrain, even if it doesn't deal dmg w/o a special adv. It does still interact w/ the target and use it as a source of sorts (like, say, to help determine when it crit heals or not, or when ur out of range, etc), so it interacting w/ Baron's block like that isn't really too surpising.

Yeah I figured it worked liked that. Just wondering if that is intentional or they just don't have the know-how to make that effect go away or maybe are already working on it.
