But that's the thing, for me: I am not hopping made about BoP, single-character emote unlocks. I view this as a giant "meh", whereas I would have bothered to collect an account-wide emote . . . which I still wouldn't use.
To rephrase: this move (character-bound emotes) pleases very few, but annoys more. Why bother?
I admit, I failed the community: I bought the emote once, on my namesake character, just to see how it looks. But I did it with gears I had picked up on a previous Forum Malvanum week, so still no encouragement for me to run that content even once this week. And while I might have picked up soem Bind to Character emotes over on STo during a Risa event, I only have eight characters there, while I easily have three times that many here. And I'm a little burned out on grinding: I just got OV Defender's gloves on all five of my tanks.
takeaway message: just say NO to Bind To Character emotes.
