It's easily countered. For this you need to have a) Trauma, b) Constant spikes spam (Ala Haymaker + UR). What helps countering those ever more is falling damage, which means knock back and knock ups would be useful
As a DPS with good gear I honestly didn't even need trauma, but tanks would use it. If you have both damage and trauma, though, dodgers are easy to you. They can be one-shot by DPS's Ego Surged UR if they're pure dodge
is simple as understanding it's limitations and applying them against it
1: You can't dodge while knocked [lasts until they get back up on their feet]
2: Truma or other healing debuffers annihilate BCR healing effects..[dodge healing is 99% bcr]
3: You can't dodge a DoT effect
4: you can only dodge for so long, eventually RNG gives out bad rolls [typically after about 3-5 mins of constant or near constant damage their dodge roll will falter 2-3 times in a row.. at which point, they ded...unless your damage sucks]
5: You could just simple drown the dodge with sheer sustained dps.
