CO seems to be stuttering

I've had this problem for months now and I've dealt with it has much as I could until now.

There are times when I'm talking to an npc or while fighting, that the framerate drops constantly. It's noticeable on npcs with VOs because the audio stutters and makes a glitchy sound.

It's more unbearable during fights(especially cosmic fights) because, this+lag=total migrane. My screen freezes in intervals giving barely enough time to react to the mobs/boss' attacks.

CO is the only game where I'm having issues with this. Which is weird because I didn't have this problem before.

Anyone know how I could fix it?

Update your graphics driver, turn down effects, clean your computer files, and close background applications. I've had this problem too and usually one of these fixes it. Also grabbing razor cortex, which is a really nice booster, and setting Champions Online to high priority can work as well.
