Shadow of Destruction

Must be level 40 to enter, this new zone introduces a bunch of new missions for players to earn SCR and Hermes Requisition (and a little bit of GCR)! Most missions become repeatable dailies after completion. There are also 4 open missions to challenge players!
Hermes Requisition
- This new currency can be used to purchase consumable items that will aid you in the Qliphothic Warzone such as the Hermes Supply Crate which will allow players to set up spawn points around the zone temporarily.
Portal Breaker, Worm Wrecker, Assault the Battery open missions
- Grants players SCR and questionite upon completion. This amount will diminish after 3 runs and will reset after 20 hours.
- Note: We will be increasing the amount of times you can run these oms before hitting diminishing rewards in the next patch.
- Grants players random r4~5 mods or r3 unique mods.
- Grants players Hermes requisition.
- Can all drop the following items: Qliphothic Gear. This gear is roughly on par with Mercenary gear.
Slug
- Uses a variety of abilities that turn allies against one another!
- Can drop the following rare items: Psionic auras, Slug Action Figure.
Oubliette
- Darts around the battlefield and can consume the life essence of heroes! Blots the combat area with deadly dark voids!
- Can drop the following rare items: Dark Speed, Dark Essence Aura, Oubliette Af.
Portal Guardian
- Can create dark crystals that heal him and disrupt players unless destroyed in time!
- Can drop the following rare items: Crystal Aura, Portal Guardian AF.
Shadowfall open mission
- Eidolon of Destruction is our most daunting Cosmic yet!
- This open mission can only be accessed if all 3 other open missions are on a successful cooldown. Meaning they all need to be completed roughly around the same time.
- Grants players GCR, SCR and Hermes requisition upon completion. This amount will diminish after 3 runs and will reset after 20 hours. This is on a different diminishing scale from other cosmics.
- Grants players questionite upon completion. This amount will diminish after 3 rubs and is linked to the same table as the other cosmics. Will reset after 20 hours.
- Can drop the following rare items: Shadow Destroyer's Helmet, Chestwear, Shoulder Cape, Gloves, Hipwear costumes. Sacred Crown Aura, Ediolon of Destruction AF. Cosmic secondaries.
ZEN Store
- Players must now be at least level 10 to purchase any keys or key packs from the store.
- Retired the Havoc Pack.
- Draysha Supercharge device is now in the Collector's store.
- Ripper's Rage mod is now in the GCR store.
- New Key Pack: Sorcerer Pack. This pack includes the Primary Offense and Secondary Offense pieces of Sorcerer's Might Heirloom gear. Like Aurum Gear, the other pieces can be found in the Questionite and Drifter Store.
- Reorganized the costume section so that costumes that unlock when you're gold and perk related costumes are on their own tab.
- Added Anapa temp sidekick to the store.
Arcane Lockbox
- We've introduced our new lockbox! Visit Anapa in Rencen to learn more!
- The following can be found in the Arcane lockbox:
- Costumes: Arcane Mage, Spinal Glow, Anubis, Tiki Club, Trident.
- Note: There is a bug where the Spinal Glow costume is currently not unlocking account wide, this will be retroactively fixed next patch.
- Powers: Crashing Incantation Ultimate, Arcane Flight.
- Devices: Arcane Flight Travel, Anapa Loyal Sidekick.
- Auras: Will-O'-The-Wisp, Candle, Sacred, Floating Orbs, Floating Translucent Orbs.
Vendors
- Drifter will no longer sell Justice Gear. This gear can now be found in the GCR vendor.
- Added Spirit Crystals aura to the Drifter.
- Added the following costumes to the GCR vendor: Shadow Destroyer's Cape Shoulders, Chestwear, Gloves, Helmet and Hipwear.
- Added the following devices to the GCR vendor: Shattering Rain, Manifest Mind Worms, Elder Worm Crystal Eruption, Qliphthic Warzone Transport, Devouring Shadows.
- Added the following powers to the GCR vendor: Shadow Eruption, Mind Drain.
- Added the following Auras to the GCR vendor: Sacred Crown, Rock Crystals, Dark Essence, Psionic Auras.
- Added the following gear to the GCR vendor: Virtuous. This gear is on par with Justice/Distinguished and is more oriented towards heler types.
- Added the following mods to the GCR vendor: Darkness Consumption, Paranormal Perfection, Shadow Destroyer's Contempt, Confront.
- Added the following action figures to the GCR vendor: Eidolon of Destruction, Oubliette, Slug, Portal Guardian.
Costume Changes
- Moved Bunny (headwear), Cat ears (headwear), bat (side accessories), dragon (side accessories) and krampus (side accessories) to the new Ear selection.
- Split Belt Accessories into Left and Right versions. Currently the Holoforce and Back Arrow costumes are only on the right side.
UI Changes
- Added Slotted Passive and Toggle Form categories to the power window.
- Merged the Sorcery powertrees into one tree.
- Added visual timers to buffs and debuffs on the HUD.

Device Changes
- Reduced Radion's Revenge to 60 seconds (from 180). Radions Revenge now applies Burn Through instead of a generic particle resistance debuff.
- Changed Archer's memory to deal magic damage to match the fx.
- Reduced Revenancy's cooldown to 90 seconds (from 180)
- Reduced Supernatural Possession's Cooldown to 120 seconds (from 180)
- Reduced Hacked Orbital Cannon Codes to 60 seconds (from 180). Now applies Plasma Burn and affects targets in a small sphere.
- Coward's Lament can be used without a target now. No longer has a charge time. Increased activation time to 1 second (from 0.67). Reduced cooldown to 30 seconds (from 180).
- Eroded Shard is now clearly labeled as a toggle. Now applies repel resistance to repelled foes. If fully maintained, now blasts nearby targets. Reduced cooldown to 60 seconds (from 180)
Cosmics
- If drawn too far away from Kigatilik, his hounds will gain a immunity to crowd control.
- Teleiosaurus's damage check buff now displays a visual timer instead of getting stuck at 0:01.
- Increased the frequency of the meteors Qwyjibo summons.
Misc
- Updated tooltips for Justice, Distinguished and Virtuous.
- Added new icons to Distinguished gear.
- Eidolon of Destruction has been added to the Cosmic Beatdown daily.
- Increased Cosmic Beatdown rewards.

Players who owned the following powers will receive a respec: Eldritch Blast, Skarn's Bane, Palliate, Conduit, Expulse, Pyromancer's Blades, Invocation of Storm Calling, Sigils of Primal Runes, Sigils of Primal Runes, Vala's Light, Pillar of Poz.

BUG
Eidolon sometimes summons Green Orbs just before Healing Orb phase. If the Green Orb detonates within reach of the Healing Orbs, it will take them out. Had this happen on today's attempt during last bar, which made my job ever so easy having to CC only 1 orb instead of 3.
SUGGESTION
Healing Orb phase seems like a huge breather. With the exception of the CCer, the rest of the players just have to stop doing anything, or start rezzing/healing. Healing Phase should have a DoT on every player like the one Nemcon has. CCer focuses on CCing the orbs, while Healers and DPS focus on surviving.
BUG: Skarn's Bane loses its HEXED Debuff on RANK 2 and RANK 3
BUG:Conjuring is using the wrong icon in the potrait once it get triggered, instead it use the bestial bleed icon (Wild Things)[/b] inb4 Lucario Clones!
and the smokebomb animation for the ADV ruins the power mystic theme, WTF why!? couldn't you get a better animation?
unless you can use big floppy ears and put a spike in the middle of your chest, it's impossible to make a lucario clone
Overall really nice stuff for the Sorcery powerframe
Pillar of Poz's utility became AWESOME along with the circle visuals (also thematic self heal, i see myself replacing conviction)
Crashing Incantation animation and visuals alone are masterpiece,
Banish NOT getting Curse adv make it worthless >_> pretty visuals

Please tell me Hermes Tokens are going to be able to buy something useful in the future instead of a bunch of consumables.
Annihilator Bots sometimes bump up to 100k HP after the fight starts and then don't even have the decency to give credit for killing them.
A big-**** box and you get one egg from it? I finished the other two worm quests before getting enough eggs. Another annoying thing is you can't claim eggs from the boxes more than once. I probably killed 50 families of Elder Worms just to steal their babies.
It'd be super if there was a PoHo in the warzone. It'd also be super if a level 40 zone that isn't exactly solo friendly didn't have crappy green drops. The third thing that would be super is to have open raids like Warhammer: Age of Reckoning and Rift do. Part of that is to have a button to join said open raid when you are in range of one or bring up a list with all of the open raids. Also the ability to join on someone by a handy command like "/join <raid leader name>".
Is there something wrong with trying to shut down the portals? I gave up trying to get keys. Mostly due to being so annoyed having to ethnic cleans all of robots just to get my 6 lousy Annihilator Bot kills. How about killing an engineer drops a key 100% of the time?
Inquiring minds want to know (from last week's patch notes):
"How retroactive is the First Time Buyer stuff? I've bought more than 500z just in FF slot sales last year, but have none of that stuff. Also: Does it matter how the zen is purchased? Do Steam Wallet and Questionite to Zen count? I've picked up two ATs on sale just from converting Q. Does it have to be all at once? Or can someone buy several different things over time until it adds up to 500z or more?"
And yes, I looked in my bonus tab. No, it's not there.

Tho honestly I recently actually looked at what the new J Gear prices are and it's the first time I've actually considered getting J-Gear since the time long long ago that I got a set for Kagami. The reduced token requirements are fantastic, especially the fact that 50% of the tokens you need come from the one rampage I actually like!
Also I saw people forming LI groups today so... yeah, I think they might still be going for J-Gear.
My super cool CC build and how to use it.
Here are a few things I'd like to address that might help:
1. Illuminate doesn't always function as a curse and it does not chain Conduit at all.
2. Rebuke is missing "Challenge!". While it has Breakthrough after the taunt changes like all blasts do.
3. Enchanter is underperforming: it offers less overall benefits than Shadow Form and Seraphim, including damage bonus apparently. Could it get a 5/10/15% chance as per rank to apply random Curse and Enchantment when the caster deals the appropriate damage types?
4. Eldritch Bolt still has a chance to Root the target instead of applying Hexed, and completely missing the "apply hexed on every hit" 2pt advantage that every other energy builder does with the respective effect stack in other ability trees. It would also be nice if it could apply an enchantment as well for additional advantage points spent the way other energy builders offer similar utilities.
5. Skarn's bane is the only way to apply Hexed currently, and its cost is way too high for its current tier, while it does not necessarily apply Hexed even after the very long and energy-consuming sequence.
6. Spellcaster only works off of Intelligence while Concentration works with EGO or INT and Compassion with REC or PRE. Could it work off of INT or REC as well?
7. Could Conjuring feed off of both Curses and Enchantments? This way it could be a great EU for Healers who use Illuminate as well.
8. The healing on Sorcery powers seems to scale very badly. I have tested them with a PRE-based character and the value barely budged.

Main char (Seschat, lightning DPS) uses her respec to re-electrify Storm Calling and Primal Sigils. My melee TK is overjoyed: Pyromancers Blades now gets boosted by her passive.
Perhaps Spellcaster could scale off INT and PRE?

Second, it is not reliably proccing the Hexed curse on a full maintain, as the tooltip states. The Hexed is happening only sporadically if at all.
Finally, the costs of just getting Skarn's Bane back to doing what it used to automatically do (i.e. apply debuffs) via having to buy the new Chaos Magic advantage, plus adding a much-needed Root via Warlock's Malice (to benefit from Trapped or Torment specs, etc) means we pretty much can't rise above Rank 1 on a power that was the main attack and damage dealer. Something has to give here.
I'm parking my Magic character in the Powerhouse til this is addressed.

Devs, could you find it in your heart to allow Warlock and Pyromancer's Blades to be edited in the Costume Creator?

it's just the way the game's designed - it triggers an auto-retcon if a power changes tiers or changes from one tree to another; it's not something that can be prevented

Let me just say to the Devs: I'm glad when you make major changes to our powers you give us a free recon, that's a good thing, but what I f*&king hate is forcing me to redo everything because you moved the powers horizontally in the tree.
