Rimefire DPS: Thoughts?

It's simple, I made a rimefire DPS toon, and was just wondering if I could get some perspective on it..and yes, I know it's a bit basic.

Conflag is ur main filler attack? Hm, it won't do as well w/o R3 and w/o UA's debuff. I prob wouldn't rank up the end builder fully like that, either way.

Could also consider Nanobot Swarm if ya wanted an extra burst dps cd. Also, iirc Rimefire is still flagged as an AoE attack, regardless of the version used.

I believe Iron Lariat can apply CF now via special adv too, if ya want an alternative to Frag Grenade or Flashfire that's still ranged.

1: conflag is my go to attack if something goes wrong with the timing [it's co, something alwasy goes wrong], as for stacking CF, that's what frag nade is for.. also the adv on conflag makes a pyre patch for a little extra dps.. and I ranked up the EB becasue with end as a SS< unraked EBs don't actually give you that much juice.

2: the only thing on my build with any notable CD is ego surge... so nanites wouldn't be that much of a boost.

3: Iron larat is limited to 25FT thou...

Fair enough about the lariat, I had forgotten it was melee now w/ more limited range. Its still a good way to put up CF in general, though.

There's two basic ways to play Rimefire, and I had assumed you were going for the more natural one. You can either put up CF and Chill w/ low dps moves and thus use Rimefire more frequently (ie. filler attack not needed ideally), or use Rimefire on cd, and double-tap it back-to-back for burst, which means you would have it on cd and use it for burst.

I've gotten better results w/ the latter, as the moves that 'instantly' put up Chill/CF are low dps (which Rimefire has to try to make-up for), and for Rimefire's instant reset to proc there is a delay you have to wait for the 2 debuffs to process (you can't just chain the 3 attacks together, or the reset won't work when you hit Rimefire), and that delay hurts dps as well. Nanobots works better w/ the double-tap version, obv.

You can try the 'spam' version of Rimefire, but I don't think it will perform as well if you have a decent filler attack avail.

Also, the special adv on Conflag only leaves a patch after a full maintain, which kinda limits it too much, imo, as Conflag has a rather long and costly full maintain.
