How to tell you aren't going to get any sleep tonight.

1. you come home to find out that one of the 2 11mth old boy kittens wasn't fat. She was pregnant.
You find this out when you get home and find the cat has had her kittens.
good news- inside. Bad news- on the bed.

2. you have a basket and a box set up for her.
good news- she liked the box bad news- until she had the kittens
spend an hour getting the new basket in a place she likes and her to sit with the kittens.

3. It's cold at night
good news- you have lots of blankets. bad news- the cat got all of them.

4. you need to wash them all.
good news- you have a washing machine and a drier.
bad news- it takes over an hour per blanket load to dry and you have 4 blankets to do.

5. you were going to get that one collected for rehoming. Can't do that till the kittens are 6weeks.
good news- you should be able to get her friendlier. bad news- cats come in season again, when the kittens are FOUR weeks.


well at least I'll be able to finish levelling some characters tonight​​

That was a bit of dark humor, I couldn't really condone hurting any animals, but this is why Bob Barker told you to have your pets spayed or neutered. I hope you can find a home for all those kittens.

these are the ones from the backyard strays, I've been getting friendly and then collected for rehoming. The one who had the kittens, is the one who I couldn't grab and get into a carrier with the last two.

IF other people would sterilize theirs and take them with them, when they move house. I wouldn't have this problem.

My adult is spayed, the male will be neutered as soon as I can get the money together and grab him.​​

ok Tabby, the mother, the 3 Tibbies, and Fluff the likely culprit. Also Tabby's brother
the fluffy thing is a hot water bottle cover with a heat pack in it.

ok she has done the standard for maiden queens. washed one too much, don't ask. squashed one and didn't keep one warm . so at 10 days we have Chubchub, who is huge.

2 1/2 weeks and Tibby has worked out how to get inside the hot water bottle cover to sleep on the heat pack.

and now the little bugger is roaming around the bed... next week it should work out how to fall off, accidentally of course. not exactly well coordinated yet but only 3 1/2 weeks.
