They don't make them like Gene anymore. He was a triple threat of singing, dancing, and acting. I read one of his books Kiss Me like a Stranger and you appreciate that type of dedication more.

I feel bad only knowing him as Willy Wonka. Still, his performance in that movie was truly iconic.

*Sigh* Another good one gone. I have only posted some of his movies that I've seen. He has others that are too racy to post pictures of or to mention here, but you can search to find out for yourself.

Young Frankenstein (1974) With Terri Garr

Blazing Saddles (1974) With Cleveland Little

Stir Crazy (1980) WIth Richard Pryor

Silver Streak (1976) Yes, Gene Wilder is in Black Face Makeup

The Producers (1967) With Zero Mostel [Fiddler on the Roof main character]

The Woman in Red (1984) With Kelly Le Brock

The Frisco Kid (1979) With a young Harrison Ford...

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) With the main cast.

The only picture I could find with all of the Oompa Loompas

It's sad that the older you get the more people you know die. Gene was a truly great comedic actor, always with that twinkle in his eye, and I'm going to miss him. His movies with Richard Pryor were my personal favorites, I did like the Mel Brooks films, but Pryor and Wilder were a great comedic pairing.

I vaguely remember seeing a Willy Wonka type of Superhero at one point trashing New Purple Gang members over on the Westside, but that was years ago now. I seem to recall the name used was Billy Bonka.

Anyone see any of his other characters (mad scientist, cowboy (Regular or Yiddish), nebbish accountant ), either since he passing or years ago.

Hehe, yeah, that name is easy to make variants of.
