So I just switched to gold and wondering whats the state of certain powers?

Im interested in dark, energy blade, ice blaster powers, Electricity, telekentics, chains, martial arts, and something with regnerative powers, not sure which that might be mostly to compensate for a energy blade character. Thanks everyone!

Speaking very generally here. I'd rather not give a detailed build or rundown on each, cause that takes too much time, but if ya want a specific build then that's fine.

Laser Sword can be strong, though clunky as a whole and lacks AoE reach (though so do most melee sets). Basic LS combo is simple and good by itself, but its costly to afford, and not many things support it well outside of the mini-set.

Electricity is good for a ranged dps set. A bit high on energy costs, but has some of the best 100ft single target dps w/ LArc + NI, and a high-dps AoE w/ LStorm.

Telekinesis is good, both ranged and melee, though ranged is a bit more versatile, although although TK blades can also self-heal much w/ Siphoning Strikes. Mostly relies on crit and burst dps.

MA as a whole is good. Not much else to say since it encompasses many good powers and playstyles.

Regen is a good passive (esp for soloing), though not as strong at taking big hits as something like Defiance.

The Chain powers revamp was pretty good overall. Nothing standout about them, but they can perform pretty admirably now and provide some extra utility (mostly in their 'lariat' powers).

Darkness was made a bit stronger in single-target w/ Ebon Ruin being its mainstay there, and SBlast having a Dimensional dmg debuff added on. Decent minor team support/debuffs and self-healing avail as well.

Ice is strong- not quite as easily strong as w/ the old Ice Blast + Hard Frost builds, but Ice Spear fills the void leftover (though is costly), and Avalanche is good AoE dps. Its rather like Electricity overall in performance.
