Would you kneel to Loki?

It always turns out for the hero when we get to use powers...but what if you had no power, and where faced with slavery by a powerful tyrant, would you still refuse to kneel?

Peasant hero question:

Courage is doing what is right even when it isn't popular or safe. Honor is retaining the dignity and virtue in one's self, so it can light the way for others in the darkest of times. Compassion is showing patience and mercy towards others, even when it isn't returned or deserved. A hero is defined by these 3 words, they set him apart from others as a beacon of hope and excellence.

Dissapointed by a lack of a "I would set him on fire and laugh" option...

Guys, you're missing the question - what if you had no power?

I'd like to think I'd emulate the prison-camp survivor in that scene. In the words of Robert Heinlein, "You cannot defeat a truly free man. The worst you can do is kill him."
"Science teaches us to expect -- demand -- more than just eerie mysteries. What use is a puzzle that can't be solved? Patience is fine, but I'm not going to stop asking the universe to make sense!"

    Basically.

And not to promote open revolt at the cost of one's life or anything, but if everyone refuses to kneel and dies for it, what would Loki be left with but a bunch of dead bodies? If I do recall, you need people to live in order to rule them, unless you're some sort of necromancer.

What sort of "ruler" has no subjects? A defeated one.

I'm just being honest with myself here.

No wrong answer if its honest.

If you resist, you would get shot down by his staff like the elder in the video, if you kneel you would live but as a slave, if you ran off to revolt through an organized resistance you would be harassed relentlessly by his minions with no guarantee of success.

This is why its so epic when Avengers started beating up on Loki, he really had a beating coming!
