Patriot Event
  • The Patriot Event has been enabled and will be running for 2 weeks. During this time you can grab a Daily Mission from Liberty Guard who is standing next to Defender.
  • Reduced the Freedom Isn't Free daily mission cooldown to 20 hours (from 24).
  • Increased the tokens it gives to 35.
  • Mobs can now drop Patriot Bags, which can give you Patriot Tokens and temp versions of the Fireworks devices.
  • Adjusted token prices in Liberty Guard's store to match the new token rate scale.
  • Added Freedom Grav Bike to Liberty Guard's store.
  • Added American and Canadian Flag Super Jump to Liberty Guard's store.
  • Added permanent Fireworks Device to Liberty Guard's store.
  • Added Star Trail, Glint Trail and Sparks auras to Liberty Guard's store.
  • The temp Indy Kid offered in the store is now a different version from the one offered in the ZEN store.



Red Winter Alert
  • Drago, White Wolf and Red Dawn no longer do the electric slide in their cutscene.
  • Added action figures of Drago, Red Dawn, White Wolf, Sickle and Hammer as drops in the alert.
  • Added Large Hook as a costume drop to the alert.
  • During the Patriot event you can earn Patriot tokens from completing the alert. This amount starts out at 5 tokens and diminishes to 1 after running the alert 10 times on a character. The amount of tokens you receive will reset after 20 hours.




Red Snake, Green Dragon Alert
  • Added serpent costume pieces as drops to the alert.




ZEN Store
  • Added a Loyal version of Indy Kid. This sidekick comes with the Kneepads costume unlock.
  • Adjusted Indy kid's powers. His attacks should now chain properly together.
  • Replaced his Shuriken Throw with Throwing Blades.
  • Indy Kid's attacks now have a chance to apply Disorient.



Questionite Store
  • Added Tricolor Speed and Flight. These travel powers trail different colors behind you. The colors they use are dependant on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th colors from your chest costume.
  • All questionite travel powers now cost 250,000 questionite (a few were at 200,000).
  • Added preview images to all of the travel powers.



Drifter Store
  • Added Distorted Rings Trail, Tech Rings Trail, Rings Trail, Glow Trail and Swirls Trail auras. These auras will trail behind you as you run.
  • Added Box of Patriot tokens. Like the other token boxes, these will only be available for the Patriot Event.



Tailor
  • Fixed the Scoundrel coat from not appearing under the jackets category.
  • Fixed some chest items not appearing under the jackets category.
  • Fixed a few capes from not appearing under the jackets category.
  • Fixed some chestwear attachment items from not appearing under the jackets category.
  • Renamed some animal heads to be a little more descriptive and less numeric.
  • Modified the Trench Coat Bottom and Spartan Clothing items so they can work with regular legs.
  • Added Junkbot and Toxic Steel Leg items to the partial category.
  • This will be the last week the tailor will be free so get your costume changes done!



July Subscriber Reward
  • This month's gold sub reward is the Mantle Brooch Star back item and the Flag Cape. The Flag Cape comes with a large variety of Country Flags.



Misc
  • Put travel powers into categories so you can minimize ones you don't want to see.
  • Added a Mark 2 version of the Betta Exocet vehicle.
  • Fixed a bug where the nailed to the ground used by Cosmic Monsters did not match the range of their attacks.
  • Fixed a bug where Qwyjibo didn't want to use his regular attacks if his target was a specific distance from him.

    Im kinda sad because I was expecting a 50% FF slot sale
    but on the other hand, look at all those pretty auras and new stuff

    Those Travel Powers have a lot of pontetial for silver users, powers that are automatically get coloured by your clothes is something really interesting

    What's the ETA on fixing (or at least acknowledging) the problem with the gravity defying lanterns (only work properly for characters in Average and Heroic stances)?

    OOOOH Does this include the NPC-Exlusive costume Serpent Collar? or is it just the Z store costumes?

    EDIT: No serpent collar in Loot Table, but again if it was it would be on PTS first for testing​​

    Yep, 150 for the bop auras and 650, at 40 (35 from daily and 5 from the alert) tokens a day that's about 17 days of a two week event.

    I have the same issue. The patriot tokens from last year dont look the same as the ones from this year and the old ones landed in your inventory, not the currency tab as the new ones do. Will there be a fix on the old patriot tokens to allow players to combine the old ones with the new ones, or should I just delete the old ones?

    Yep, 150 for the bop auras and 650, at 40 (35 from daily and 5 from the alert) tokens a day that's about 17 days of a two week event.
    Well, if you do the Red Alert 10 times per day, that becomes 85 per day, without any street sweeping.

    Since you guys are adding interesting Rewards for each Special Alert, I suggest adding Green Dragon and Red Snake Action Figurines into the loot table for the next Rotation

    I dont personally care for AF, but It would be something (along Serpent Collar) to motivate people

    Also BUG: Serpent Mask: The item is automatically Unlocked on Pick Up
    It unlocked to me even if I already had the Serpent costume set​​

    You know, I bite and decided to ignore the fact that the Event auras are Bound on Character, and farm the for the current characters who need them (sorry Future characters you are screwed)

    and i STILL got dissapointed

    I do really appreciate the Devs for attaching preview pictures to the new auras. It's not perfect, because you can't see how the aura acts or what the tinting looks like on them, but definitely a big improvement.

    That being said, I hate auras being BoP.

    Auras are costume pieces and I'm always mixing and matching auras and costumes. It's super aggrevating to purchase a BoP aura only to find it just doesn't look right on that particular toon. That happened recently with a Patriot Event aura and A Drifter store aura. Now they'll sit in those toon's aura storage and probably never get used.

    I stopped running the Patriot Event because I'm not interested in collecting BoP auras on toons that, more than likely, will never use them.

    Conversely, I ran the Foxbat and Halloween events over and over again because I wanted a couple of each of the auras, even though I didn't have specific toons I wanted to use them for. Since then, I've used a number of them and even created new toons specifically with using those auras in mind.
