By the time I get to play with my builds from my previous threads, so many days have passed that I don't want to bump with a "thank you" reply. Anyway...
The two major themes of this build is to use the Mentalist framework powers as much as possible and to have a multi role build. I want to do a bit of everything with this toon. Psychic powers appear to be very diverse in their roles aside from technology and magic. I have a habit of only looking at one possible way that powers my work together and end up missing more effective ways. What is probably crazy is that I would to be able to switch to all roles and not just stick with Hybrid. I understand that this is a jack of all trades route and that I wouldn't be super great at any of the specific roles. For example, I might be able to pull of an off tank at best.
The struggle between theme and actually being useful is still very annoying, at least without making the theme itself be min-max. I much rather avoid that. Anyway, here's my first pass of this build...

In theory melee attacks in this framework scale in extra damage from EGO so I shouldn't need STR which was one of my big worries. Ego Weaponry w/ Siphoning Strikes seems to aid with surviving a bit better. Congress of Selves is the only slotted passive I know that works across all roles. The attacks I've picked are AoE, cover both melee and ranged, and has a chance of applying Ego Leech to trigger the energy unlock. I don't have Telekinesis on here because although it looks fun, it probably won't be very useful in practice, despite the theme boost. At least Ego Surge fully fits the theme on this toon.
So in the Powerhouse battle station, I felt more like a mess in all roles instead of okay. I like the idea of being able to switch to any specific role, but that will probably have to remain a dream if I can't make it work. The Hybrid role in itself can work well enough? One last issue is maintaining energy. I'll probably have to gear for that won't I? I plan on leveling with heirloom gear.

Gears mostly for Ego and Con here. Doesn't seek out tanking, but can off-tank as long as its w/in melee range. Doesn't outright replace a healer, but can heal/revive allies in a pinch. Does a bit of AoE control w/ TK Malestrom (or Ego Storm) as well.
